Chakra enhanced weaponry. Ahhh I get it. The chakra makes the sword sharper to a very high degree. It can extend the sword's range. I would imagine that there are some abilities that enhance your sword striking speed with chakra. Notable chakra natures that make your sword sharper are Fuuton and Raiton.

Chakra can do a little more than make your sword sharper... for instance, it can turn a normally close-quarter-combat style of fighting, into a ranged attack...
As Fuu finished, she drew her sword with her right hand, before slashing downward at a tree mid-range to her right side, all the while without changing her stance so that she was facing Yoshimitsi all the while. As she slashed downwards, a red crescent of chakra was released, slicing the tree in two, length-ways.
Now it's up to you to try and replicate that. Channel chakra into your blade and use shape manipulation to release a blade of chakra. The crescent shape comes from the arc of your swing, which also serves to release the chakra from the blade.

Yoshimitsu watches as Fuu stares into his eyes. This look on her face was cool, calm, and collect. But she suddenly swung her sword, and released chakra from it that cut a tree in half. That was pretty freaking awesome! But since that is raw chakra coming from the blade, it is weak to all elemental chakra right? So any C-rank elemental ninjutsu can counter it, as long as the description fits with common sense? Yoshimitsu starts molding his physical and spiritual energy to create chakra within himself. As he does this, Yoshimitsu grips his sword in his right hand, not breaking eye contact with Fuu. Yoshimitsu channels the chakra into his sword and horizontally swings it at the same tree Fuu did. Yoshimitsu made sure it was not a huge, wide arc so Fuu wouldn't get hit. As he swung, the chakra he channeled into the blade left it, and with shape manipulation, Yoshimitsu willed the chakra to form a crescent shape. Like that?

Watching Yoshimitsi perform the jutsu, Fuu repeats her use of the jutsu, releasing a crescent blade of chakra to intercept the one released by Yohsimitsu. Always watch where you are aiming, how could you be certain to hit your target without taking aim. You're no where near skilled enough to emulate my bad-assery at the present... and to answer your question, it is indeed raw chakra, able to be countered by C-rank elemental jutsu... Now attack my clone here.

My bad Fuu-chan! It seems I overestimated myself again. Ah so I was correct. Yoshimitsu re-sheaths his blade, as Fuu tells him he won't need the actual blade for this technique. Alright...that doesn't seem too complicated. Let's see how this goes! Yoshimitsu darts at the clone with terrifying speed and with his right hand, that is holding his sword, jabs the butt of it into the clones eyes. Yoshimitsu then spins three hundred and sixty degrees to gain momentum and back kicks the clone, sending it flying towards the boulder. Now time to apply chakra to my feet, intercept the clone, then punch it...shit this is tough... Yoshimitsu focuses chakra under his feet and darts at the clone, who is nearing the boulder. Within an instant, Yoshimitsu rotates his body to the right as he extends his left arm with his hand clenched into a fist, laying in to the clone's face. The clone then hits the boulder and poofs away. This is getting tough Sandaime-Amekage-dono.

As Yoshimitsu finished his combination, a chirping can be heard from the direction of Fuu, who would be several meters behind him. The Chirping is coming from a chidori channelled into her sheathed sword that Fuu is wielding as per a normal Katana, running straight at Yoshimutsu before aiming a downward-diagonal strike, from Fuu's right to left. See what happens when you parry this!
Yoshimitsu whips around and looks at Fuu, then scans her immediate left and right after hearing some birds. What in the world? Yoshimitsu watches as Fuu darts towards him, so Yoshimitsu takes his sword in his right hand and holds it up. The blade was parallel to the ground over Yoshimitsu's head, getting ready to parry the incoming blade.

Expecting that Yoshimitsu would try to block her attack that way, Fuu made certain that her sheathed blade would not make contact with Yoshimitsu himself, only his katana which is so effortlessly sliced through by Fuu's chidori-enchanced blade, that Yoshimitsu doesn't feel any pressure against his weapon.
I hope you have another weapon... As you can see, lightning greatly enhances the power of ones cut, as you might know from another lightning jutsu.
Fuu pauses for a moment to catch her breath, due to not using lightning as much she is not comfortable with using it as proficiently as wind.
So even a sheathed weapon can easily cut through steel, as you saw. However, that was no ordinary lightning coursing over the blade. As you might have heard, it was actually a Chidori. Using shape manipulation, you can wrap a chidori around your sword like a more focused chidori current. So as well as being able to cut, it will also impose the normal chidori numbing you get from other jutsu.
Firstly, do you even know Chidori?
Yoshimitsu feels nothing as Fuu cuts through his sword as if it were microwaved butter. Yoshimitsu analyzed the situation himself, and with his sensei's words, confirmed his suspicions. Ah, so the effects of the Chidori turn the blade into a sharper, more finely tuned killing machine at the expense of sound? Not a bad let off Fuukage. Yoshimitsu then frowns as his sensei asks him the other question. I have yet to learn raiton, Fuukage-dono.

Huh... a look of shock appeared on Fuu's face. I should have asked that before slicing your weapon in two... but the demonstration still stands and helps to enforce a point about boosting your kenjutsu using ninjutsu/chakra...

Alright then, thanks for what you have taught me. Yoshimitsu starts by gripping his sword in a loose but firm grip with his right hand. He then starts running towards Fuu in a zig zag pattern until he hit five meters distance in between them. Yoshimitsu then uses chakra under his feet to propel himself faster towards Fuu, and when he is within sword striking distance, he diagonally slashes downward with his right hand, starting from his left to his right. Simplicity!

As Yoshimitsu begins to run towards Fuu, she simply draws her sword and releases a horizontal arc of crimson read chakra, aimed to slice Yoshimitsu through his gut.

Yoshimitsu keeps running as he watches Fuu shoot out a red wave of chakra from his sword horizontally. Yoshimitsu then swings upwards as he runs, releasing chakra to negate Fuu's attack, then puts his sword back in it's original stance. Yoshimitsu then applies chakra to hit feet as he dashes towards Fuu, and once within range, he slices diagonally at Fuu. The sword would start it's cut at her right hip. I know what I am doing Fuukage-chan, believe!

As Yoshimitsu's blade makes it way to Fuu's right side, Fuu catches the blade on the side of her own by holding the sword in her right hand and twisting her arm counter-clockwise to keep the point of her blade downwards, to effectively block and hold Yoshimutsu's sword in place. For extra strength in her block, she shift her right foot back into a fighting stance as she catches her opponent's blade. As soon as the sword makes contact, Fuu blows a weak pulse of wind from her mouth aimed at Yoshimitsu's face, causing causing him to stagger back ever so slightly, opening him up for Fuu to swing her sword counter clockwise from its previous position, moving it into a powerful two handed strike as she steps forward and grabs the hilt with her left hand. The downward strike was aimed to hit Yoshimitsu on his left shoulder.
Yoshimitsu saw his attack get blocked by Fuu and smirked. Her stance reassured her defense and fortified it, and Yoshimitsu knew there was no overpowering her, so as he was about to counterattack, Fuu blew some wind at him. This caused Yoshimitsu to close his eyes for a split second and stagger back. As the wind hit him, he knew he was open to attack so he created a pillar of earth to rise in front of himself that was 1mx1m. Yoshimitsu then regained his senses and leaped over the wall with his sword extended. As he went down, his sword came down as well, cutting Fuu in two.
I can change the landscape to my advantage, catch my opponents off guard, make them close their eyes via the wind, etc. It puts me in a better position to beat them rather than slugging it out. I loved the wind usage by the way. xD
