Re: Katon with noni1997

If that is what you desire, senpai. Ithnan, taking a moment to recall his past training, then begins to knead a small amount of chakra into his lungs. As the chakra accumulates, he just as quickly begins to expel it from his mouth whilst applying nature transformation and allows it to assume the form of a small, bright ball of fire. The ball of fire streaks past senpai.

Re: Katon with noni1997

Okay just use this template. We start off with three jutsus at a time, depending on how good your replies are will depend if we continue with three or I might have to take a jutsu off the set. If you are having troubles just say and I will help you.

PHP:
Perform the technique:
Creative uses/strengths:
Drawbacks/counters:
___
( Katon: Karyu Endan ) - Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user first performs seven handseals Ram → Horse → Snake → Dragon → Rat → Ox → Tiger and kneads chakra into flames, which are then manipulated and exhaled as a thin yet incredibly fast jet of flames that spread across the ground as it runs towards the enemy. Its temperature is such that it easily melts the ground as it travels and can reduce an enemy to ash.

Okay with 7 hand seals its quite a long technique, the user will channel katon chakra towards their throat then the user will send towards the opponent a stream of fire, the stream moves very fast through the ground burning it as it moves, its a fast moving technique as well as it is able to move up to long range making it much more mobile. It has a large amount of condense heat so on contact it can severly burn an opponent to ash and can melt the ground. It can easily disrupt jutsu that use the ground as a medium as well. Its a stream technique so you must continue to send the stream until it hits the opponent. Simple ways to counter is send some water on the ground.

( Bakuhatsu Enhogan ) – Exploding Flame Shots
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user shoots multiple fire shots from their hands that are able to cause fiery explosions on impact with any object. The shots can't set the opponent on fire, though they can cause damage by exploding on him.

The user will gather katon chakra and release multiple fire shots from their hands. It has no hand seals so its fast to perform and can travel up to mid range. Its not the best jutsu to use in close range because its different compared to other fire jutsus. It explodes on impact and burns where it is hit. If their is a chance it is sent and you are close to the fire you can catch in the blast. You are able to send multiple meaning you can attack more then one threat. It is mainly projectile so you can send multiple attacks for great use of distraction. Simple ways to stop the shots is create a wall to withstand the explosions, or simply try to push backward to get out of range.

( Katon: Hiendan ) – Fire Release: Soaring Flame Bullet
Rank: B
Type: Offense, Deffence
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user exhales a stronger yet shorter version of the Fire Release: Great Fireball technique.

This jutsu is must like the C-Rank jutsu you most likely learn, just a very large version with more fire, and attack potential. The user will spew it from their mouth as well. A huge problem with the technique is it can only travel up to short range which can hinder the user so its not mobile. It has no hand seals so its a plus since its quicker to perform unlike its weaker version. It can be used to intercept attacks and overpower basic techniques. Due to its large size it can block the users vision as you send the fireball same goes with the fact, the opponent won't be able to see you.

Re: Katon with noni1997

Perform the technique: Ithnan, as he begins to knead chakra in his lungs, weaves a sequence of seven hand-seals: Ram -> Horse -> Snake -> Dragon -> Rat -> Ox -> Tiger. As he begins to expel the accumulated chakra, he also applies nature transformation and exhales a fiery stream of fire that blasts forward whilst melting even the very ground it follows.

Creative uses/strengths: It's a fairly straightforward technique, however, it works best in conjecture with a prior technique that restricts the opponent's movements. Such combinations I have in mind are either Earth Release: Antlion Technique or Earth Release: Sticky Earth Drop, which would be used just prior to the fire technique. Though I intend to specialize in fire, most instances could potentially allow for the full sequence of hand-seals to be made as the opponent consume time escaping from the prior technique.

Drawbacks/counters: The primary drawback to this technique is the fact that it requires a series of seven hand-seals, whereas most, even of higher levels may require far less without even taking into consideration specialties. Also, its potency could quite possibly be vastly reduced if used over a body of water, where it'd have no means of spreading.

Perform the technique: Ithnan, clenching both his hands, begins to knead a fair amount of chakra into them. Suddenly, he opens his hands to reveal his palms before swinging his arms in front of him, creating multiple fire shots that streak through the air for several meters.
Creative uses/strengths: In thinking of a recent technique I've learned, Multiple Phantom Shuriken, I see a shadow clone combination with the fire technique as a more viable alternative. Given numbers and speed of each shot, the opponent would need a powerful multi-directional defense. Of course, the clones could also use the technique in close range and devastate the opponent without fear, as they would merely disperse.
Drawbacks/counters: Honestly, this technique is almost impractical in the presence of explosive tags tied to kunai. The kunai can have solid range and be used in numbers, which means there's little difference. Both the kunai and the shots can be negated by reasonably powerful wind techniques or water techniques.

Perform the technique: Upon building up a considerable amount of chakra within his lungs, Ithan rapidly releases the mass of it whilst applying nature transformation. As it takes form, a huge fireball appears that pushes forward until dispersing after traveling several meters.
Creative uses/strengths: As you've stated, a significant shortcoming of the techniques is its range and size. To circumvent such issues, perhaps it could be used immediately after Earth Release: Earth Flow River; the initial attack would force the opponent back a bit and also throw their balance off before being set ablaze by the fire technique, given the lack of hand-seals needed for the fire, it could be stringed together in fluidity.
Drawbacks/counters: As you've stated, the range is the most discernible drawback. A solid counter would be to simply use Wind Release: Wind Stream to move out of range and follow up with perhaps a strong water technique.

Re: Katon with noni1997

Great :)

( Katon: Goenkyu ) - Fire Release: Great Blaze Ball
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user after performing two hand seals Horse → Tiger exhales a big-sized sphere of fire that carries the enemy away and causes a massive explosion on impact. The fire ball has a given solidity property to it, being able to punch through solid obstacles without exploding.

Okay now this jutsu is similar like the ones previous you learned. You well gather katon chakra and With two hand seals the user will send a large fire ball from their mouth, roughly the same size as the fireball the Uchia's are most famous for. The fireball will move towards the opponent at a normal pace, the ball is dense and when on contact will act to carry the opponent almost attaching itself to them which will restrict their movements and continue to burn them as they are being carried, the fireball will then continue to move some distance before it explodes mid air. Something handy about the jutsu is it can move up to any range making it quite mobile.

( Katon: Goenka ) - Fire Release: Great Flame Flower
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user jumps in the air and shoots three giant bullets of fire that come down like giant meteors, then erupt into a geyser of flame.

Okay jumping in the air, the user will gather katon chakra and then from their mouth the user will send three giant bullets of fire that rain down upon the opponent. Their size is the same as the Uchia fireball they are known to use and while they descend they move at a quick pace. When they come on contact with the ground they erupt like geysers super heating and burning the area around it as well as the opponent. They can be aimed anywhere and are projectile based attacks as well as they are able to go long range so this is quite the mobile technique, also though it sends you must jump in the air pretty much whenever you are mid-air you can use it so its great to use in those tough situation, with no drawbacks.

( Katon: Haisekisho ) - Fire Release: Ash Pile Burning
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user spews superheated ash from their mouth after performing four handseals. The ash is hot enough to cause third-degree burns on the victim. Because it's composed entirely of ash, it stays in the air around the victim like a cloud. If the user clicks his teeth, the stagnant ash will ignite, creating a violent explosion.

A favorite and a great one to use. A user will send very thick and hot ash from their mouths to the opponent, the ash alone can cause serious burns and if the opponent is caught in the ash cloud it can hinder the opponents vision distracting them so the ash can be used alone also to ignite the ash alone you can send another fire attack to cause an even larger explosion depending on what rank of attack you send, or by using a simple match it can cause the same explosion. The main method used is while the user is still sending the ash it right when it gets in the same area of the opponent you will click your teeth igniting the ash causing a sever explosion in the area. It needs 4 hand seals and the ash moves rather slow as it moves through the air. Explain this one with detail. The best way to counter is to push yourself back or to douse the ash away with water.

Re: Katon with noni1997

Perform the technique: After taking a short moment to knead chakra within his throat, Ithnan then makes the Horse and Tiger hand-seals before rapidly releasing it whilst applying nature transformation. The emerging chakra manifests in the form of a large spherical mass of fire that pushes through most everything in its path before exploding upon impact.
Creative uses/strengths: Given its overall similarity to some previous techniques, I would likely utilize it in a similar manner as Fire Release: Soaring Flame Bullet, but use Earth Release: Swamp of the Underworld in conjecture with the improved range possibilities.
Drawbacks/counters: I suppose a slight drawback is that unlike Fire Release: Soaring Flame Bullet, it requires two hand-seals, which means the opponent will have more time to react and prepare, and sometimes, respond quicker. Given that it can mow through a considerable amount of barricades, perhaps evasive techniques would be more practical; they'd consume less chakra and allow the user to keep track of what the opponent will do next.

Perform the technique:Leaping into the air, Ithnan briefly accumulates a fair amount of chakra in his lungs before releasing a third of it with nature transformation applied in intervals, thrice. Each release of chakra manifests in the form of a sizable fireball that proceeds to crash into the ground below.
Creative uses/strengths: It doesn't seem to require any hand-seals, and allows for up to three large bullets of fire to be released in various positions. It can be used quite well in tandem with evasive techniques that leave the user in the air, and can allow for great fluidity in shifting from defense to offense.
Drawbacks/counters: You've said there really aren't any drawbacks, and so long as the technique is used in conjecture with another attack that leaves one in the air, I agree. The issue is that in leaping high enough, the opponent shift the terrain to his advantage with a plethora of techniques across several elements. The user must be wary of where they land.

Perform the technique: Ithnan, after making a brief sequence of four hand-seals, takes a great breathe before exhaling copious amounts of superheated ash from his mouth. Created with a great a moderate amount of chakra and nature transformation, the stream of ash is pressured onwards whilst diffusing into a cloud many meters away from Ithnan.

Creative uses/strengths: Seeing as the user could either blow away the ash cloud or douse it, it would likely be best utilized in conjecture with a strong wind technique that makes more basic defenses less practical on the enemy's part. In some instances, perhaps a genjutsu that impacts sight could be reasonable, such as the Bringer of Darkness technique.

Drawbacks/counters: I actually feel that wind techniques would provide more viable counters. Not only could you send a damaging burst, blade, or bullet of wind, it would also be capable of pushing back the incoming ash cloud. Seeing as the ash is already superheated, one can increase the overall damage of their wind technique and not even need to concern themselves with making the hand-seals required by the opponent (depending on wind technique). No doubt a useful technique, it requires four hand-seals and is particularly susceptible to not just water techniques but wind techniques too.

Re: Katon with noni1997

Very well :)

( Katon: Goryuka no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offense/Supplementary
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user fires several large dragon-shaped fireballs at their opponent after performing one handseal. It is able to alter localized weather conditions to the point of making thunder clouds when shot into the air, enabling the user to perform Kirin.

Okay with no hand seals being a quick jutsu to perform the user will gather katon chakra and send several large dragon shaped fireballs towards the opponent from their mouth, they are of intense heat and burn on contact. It travels in all ranges and you can send more then one ball allowing to attack more then one opponent in any range of the terrain. The fireballs move at simple pace as well and can be used to aid in combos, one being you can melt some chunks of rocks to create a devastating attack. It is a very simple technique so in all honesty its simple to evade or block as well. Another plus is the fireballs are small but as they travel you can still look around the area so you can notice the opponents movements even after you send it. This technique is most famous for setting up Kirin.

( Katon: Hosenka Tsumabeni ) - Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Flower Nail Crimson
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user unleashes a volley of shuriken with one hand, while at the same time exhaling fire-infused chakra onto them in order to increase the weapons' destructive potential by making them capable of inflicting severe burns upon direct contact with either the intended victim or any other object caught within their trajectories. Due to the chakra-based nature of the flames that surround them, the shuriken will continue to burn after impact, regardless of the flammability of the object that they ultimately collide with.

Okay the user will have a set of shurikens in one of their hands up to 4-6 I would say. The user will then launch the projectiles towards the opponent while at the same time while they have been launch the user will release a stream of fire towards them from their mouth which will set all of them on fire. This jutsu is all about timing. The shurikens move at normal pace but have great attack potency and will not only pierce but burn the opponent in that area hit. Its also a annoyance for the opponent for if they are pierced the shuriken will continue to burn which will hurt the opponent terribly. Now its great to use short-mid range but that is all they can move up to. Simple ways to counter is by pushing back or counter the shurikens.

( Katon: Onidoro ) - Fire Release: Demon Lantern
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal the user will manipulate their chakra releasing it into the atmosphere around him to create several ghost-like flames resembling heads with horns and yellow eyes that then attack the target/s in a swarm.

The user will do one hand seal and release fire around themselves and manipulate the shape of the fire into several ghost-like flames. This ghosts are able to move around in any range over the terrain any where. They have horns on their heads and yellow eyes. Its intent is to scare an opponent but I doubt it would actually cause much harm to an opponent by scaring them especially in our RP most stuff like that never come into action. The ghost travel towards the opponent on command of the opponent on the ground they attemp to swarm the target leaving no room for evasion. On contact the opponent will be burned by the ghosts when they get into close range. Note the ghosts move at normal pace and art great for protection as well.

Re: Katon with noni1997

Perform the technique: Ithnan, after kneading a significant amount of chakra within his throat, then expels it whilst applying both nature transformation and shape manipulation. As the chakra is released, in three short intervals, it assumes the form of dragon-shaped fireballs before streaking upwards into the sky.
Creative uses/strengths: Well, it is most known for being used as a setup to Kirin, however, those capable of using rain release can also benefit. I saw that rain techniques do not produce rain, rather the proper clouds are needed.
Drawbacks/counters: It's fairly straightforward, so it'd be quite easy for the opponent(s) to come up with a counter, such as most equally ranked and higher water techniques.

Perform the technique: Reaching for his tool pouch, Ithnan removes a dozen shuriken; six shuriken in each hand, before flinging them at his desired target. Immediately after throwing the shuriken, he follows it up by exhaling a small amount of chakra with nature transformation, which sets the moving tools aflame.
Creative uses/strengths: It could be used in conjecture with wind techniques to increase the speed and overall power of each burning shuriken. Other than that, there's not much merit to this technique.
Drawbacks/counters: Similar to Fire Release: Ash Pile Burning, water techniques and also wind techniques can easily counter/overpower the technique. Really, the user must be wary of the shuriken being blown back onto him.

Perform the technique: Upon performing the tiger hand-seal, Ithnan quickly releases some accumulated chakra into the atmosphere immediately in his vicinity. By applying both nature transformation and shape manipulation, the mass of chakra manifests in the form of several demonic, ethereal flames that begin to move away from Ithnan.
Creative uses/strengths: The greatest strength is, by and large, the ability for several moderately powerful flames to be directed at control over a variety of terrains with ease. Their use as a defense too makes it quite versatile.
Drawbacks/counters: If the flames do not move at a fast pace, the opponent will have no trouble preparing either a solid defense or straight up counter. I feel that the speed is main the drawback to an otherwise nice technique.

Re: Katon with noni1997

The great dragon fire technique is used for much more then just altering weather, you can pretty much us any fire jutsu up to B-Rank for creating clouds. Try to think of something more creative on its use for it please. Simply re-do that technique, you don't need to perform or tell me any disadvantage just give me more creative usages for it and advantages with the technique.

Re: Katon with noni1997

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I see the ability to make clouds as the only thing that sets it apart from several other generic fireball techniques already learned. Sure, three fireballs can be made, but so too can Fire Release: Great Flame Flowers. It can be used directly against the opponent, and thus, it can be used in conjecture with a variety of wind techniques. Some earth techniques, which impair the opponent's mobility, can also be used to increase pressure for safety countering it quickly.

Re: Katon with noni1997

The thing is, this and any other generic fireball can make clouds as well. The only reason why this is famous is because its the jutsu specifically used by Sasuke to create Kirin, but you can virtually make clouds with any fire jutsu B-Rank and up.

( Katon: Honoo no Hashira Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Flame Pillar Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user will manipulate their chakra into their chest and then they will release from their mouth a quick burst of flame towards their opponents feet which then errupts into a large pillar of flame reaching 3 meters tall and inflicting damage to the target.

Okay a quick and simple technique. The user will gather their katon chakra into their lungs and spew a burst of flames towards the opponents feet, note this is a projectile jutsu so its nice to use for combo attacks as it moves. The fireball moves at a moderate pace like most. Right when it hits the opponents feet or around them from below the pillar will rise quickly hurling the opponent in the air. Inflicts serious damage in their feet reducing their ability to move and also is left vulnerable in the air where you can strike with a quick technique. The fireball can only move up to short-mid range so simple evasion can help, a wall of water can work to intercept the jutsu.

( Katon: Kaen Senpu ) - Fire Release: Flame Whirlwind
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: After performing the required four handseals Monkey → Bird → Dog → Ram, fire erupts around the user's body and then launches towards the target in a spiraling-manner or expands engulfing the surrounding area in a tornado of flames. Anything nearby is incinerated as the flames erupt upwards.

The user will perform 4 hand seals and release fire from all over around the users body, it is then sent towards the opponent in a spiraling-manner, while spiraling it expands in size during travel. It engulfs anything caught in the vortex and is burned terribly. Takes time to perform but is quick and difficult to evade but is quite straightforward in where it moves. Its also a projectile technique after you send it to them so it can be used with combos, a great combo can be sending a hurricane of wind to create a vortex of fire. If caught the opponent will be burned as well as anything around the area.

( Katon: Benijigumo ) - Fire Release: Crimson Earth Spider
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: After performing five handseals Tiger → Horse → Rat → Dog → Tiger , the user spews out fire that both surrounds the enemy and then transforms into a spider that attacks the enemy. This technique effectively traps and attacks an opponent at the same time, and can be used to force them into another attack.

You will have to perform 5 hand seals, then spew flames towards the ground which rushes towards the opponent and shapes itself as a circle to trap the opponent and user around a inferno of flames restricting not only the opponent but yourself as well, though the flames are not that large and can easily bypass by using a jutsu to go over. Nothing happens until the main attack is when some of the fire is manipulated into a fire spider which goes to attack the opponent by trying to attach and engulf itself over the opponent. The user will have to control the spider and remain focused, though this technique allows to both trap and attack the opponent all in one move which is handy but as you control the spider it can easily leave you open. The spider can only move around the flaming circle formation, and the formation can only be made up to mid range at most and covers a 5 meter radius.

Re: Katon with noni1997

Ah, I didn't know that, thanks for explaining that. ^_^

Perform the technique: Kneading chakra within his chest, Ithnan then forcefully releases it from his mouth whilst applying nature transformation. Aimed at an angle towards the ground, the fire then quickly establishes a burning pillar after bursting upwards, flinging everything not incinerated into the air.
Creative uses/strengths: In my opinion, the best aspect of this technique is its ability to rise up a few meters. When the opponent sees the fire approaching, they do not have the luxury of using techniques such as Earth Release: Earth Release, to make a pillar and increase their leap. Should they make a barricade, it would impede their sight along with the large fiery pillar. If the opponent flees to the air, I'd likely use Wind Release: Vacuum Sphere as a follow up.
Drawbacks/counters: Given that the initial fire shot is aimed at the feet, something basic like Wind Release: Wind Stream could be used to propel oneself to the side of the incoming flame and maintain visual on the opponent.

Perform the technique: After performing a sequence of four hand-seals: Monkey -> Bird -> Dog -> Ram, Ithnan releases a sizable amount of chakra from his body in all directions, whilst applying nature transformation. As flames burst outwards, in an omnidirectional pattern, they begin to spiral wildly as the fiery whirlwind expands.
Creative uses/strengths: Its range of damage is essentially omnidirectional, which means an attempt to attack the user with numbers (via clone or summons) could backfire, even if they attack from several angles.
Drawbacks/counters: Though the actual technique is quite hard to avoid, having to make four hand-seals can diminish any positive aspects. Most opponents will realize the imminent danger in the opponent making a sequence of hand-seals and will likely be wary of close-quarter combat and may shift their distance from the user.

Perform the technique: Upon performing a series of five hand-seals; Tiger -> Horse -> Rat -> Dog -> Tiger, Ithnan begins to knead a fair amount of chakra within his chest, Ithnan then exhales it in the form of a fast-moving flame angled towards the ground via nature transformation. After making impact with the ground, the flame spreads around to form a fiery ring. Giving it all his focus, Ithnan then shapes the ring of flames into a large, fiery spider that proceeds to assault the ground in its vicinity.
Creative uses/strengths: This technique could work well with Earth Release: Swamp of the Underworld, as it would force the opponent to concern themselves first and foremost with escaping the swamp. Once the opponent is surrounded, his options are reduced, and more so once the fiery spider forms.
Drawbacks/counters: As you've reported, the spider requires constant focus, which means an immediate follow-up is next to impossible without the use of clones or summonings. Had the spider formed momentarily after the flames encircled the opponent and gone straight into an attack, it would've been far more useful. Being limited to no more than mid-range, the openings made in maintaining the spider can be a regret in situations where the opponent can act fast or spring a trap.

Re: Katon with noni1997

Don't allow the pillar to hit your feet, it will burn them and hurt your mobility for movement. Before it rises you will be able to feel and notice the heat below you. That will give you a small window for evasion or counter.

Here are the last four, they are quite basic.

( Katon: Hi no Iki ) - Fire Release: Fire Breath
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user breathes a powerful stream of fire from their mouth at their target.

One of the very simple techniques. The user will simply send a stream of fire from their mouths to the target which burns on impact. No hand seals required so it can be used in close range battle as well to distract the opponent or push them back, it is quite simple and gets the work done. Its a stream technique obviously so you will have to constantly send the stream to get to the opponent but you can aim it. Due to its simplicity simple counters like a wall or simply trying to evade going backwards is fine. I recommend to overpower it with a fast water technique.

( Katon: Honoo no Heki ) Fire Release: Flame Wall
Rank: B
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user kneads fire chakra into their forearm and then by swinging their arm in a wave motion they release the fire chakra creating a line of fire that spreads out infront of the user acting as a defensive wall.

Okay the user will gather katon chakra towards their favorite arm and then swing their arm releasing a wall of flames to intercept any basic attacks. It can burn out projectile weapons and withstand normal attacks. This can also be used for close range battle if an opponent comes in close you can quickly create the wall to force them back or you can even combo it with basic taijutsu attacks as well to decieve the opponent or with kenjuts whichever works best for the user. Another very simple jutsu but very effective to since it is easily fast to perform.

( Katon: Hinotama no Mai ) - Fire Release: Fireball Dance
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user will attack the opponent with a series of slashes with their sword and then finish up with jumping into the air above the target and releasing a powerful fireball down upon them.
Note: Requires a Sword.

Okay must have a sword out make sure you mention in your bio you carry a basic sword, the user will begin to slash the opponent anywhere they aim, I prefer aiming towards the limbs and vital areas like the jugular since that will force the opponent to react defensively. Then after the opponent has been pushed back some distance the user will jump up into the air and release a fireball from their mouths to rain down on the opponent and burn them. The fireball moves at moderate pace and can easily be noticed to do the heat it or it can cast a shadow.

( Katon: Yugana Honoo ) - Fire Release: Graceful Flame
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user manipulates their fire chakra and doing the tiger hand seal, shoots an intense fire stream at the opponents feet which then lifts them into the air in the eruption of a column of intense flames. Sasori can replicate this technique through the usage of his fire launcher.

This is very similar to the jutsu Fire Release: Flame Pillar Technique (B-Rank) difference is you send a stream towards the feet making it less combo friendly but you can aim it how you want. Easy to perform but must constantly send the stream if you stop before it hits the opponent it will disperse. It can burn the opponents feet making movement difficult and slow them down. Also when they are in the air their vulnerable to more attacks. Lastly ways to counter is that since its straightforward to the feet you just have to protect the feet using a ground attack, wall, etc.

Re: Katon with noni1997

Perform the technique: Accumulating a small amount of chakra within his throat, Ithnan quickly releases it whilst applying nature transformation; the chakra assumes the form of a powerful stream of fire.
Creative uses/strengths: It's very simplistic, so I'd likely utilize it mostly as a surprise attack when in the midst of engaging an opponent with either taijutsu or kenjutsu. Should I be pressured in close-combat, it could force the opponent to shift backwards, which is more preferable to having to personally retreat.
Drawbacks/counters: It's so simplistic that very basic counters/defenses are perfectly capable of dealing with it. I feel that there is nothing to really add in addition to what you've already said for this technique.

Perform the technique: Upon kneading some chakra within his left forearm, Ithnan then swings his forearm in a wave motion and release the chakra. Utilizing nature transformation, the released chakra assumed a fiery line, which bursted upwards to resemble a wall of fire.
Creative uses/strengths: This technique is also very simple, however, I do see some use for it when the opponent is using basic ninjutsu techniques, which mostly rely on various ninja tools. Not only would the Fire Wall incinerate the incoming weapons, it'd block off the opponents sight and allow the user to prepare a follow-up or conceal themselves.
Drawbacks/counters: It isn't directly damaging, the opponent would have to fall/run into it. I'm not sure how tall the line if fire would be, but if it's even two meters tall, the user will likely lose visual on the opponent. Also, as a short-range defense, it could easily be turned against the user, through something like a fast and powerful wind technique.

Perform the technique: After drawing a tanto from within his robe, Ithnan lunges forward and proceeds to make a series of fast slashes. Without pause, he then leaps into the air whilst kneading a small amount of chakra within his throat.
After exhaling and applying nature transformation, a large fireball manifests and descends upon the desired area.
Creative uses/strengths: I suppose it's somewhat viable in close-quarter combat, and it provides a fluid means of pressuring the opponent as you swiftly shift from kenjutsu to a fire technique.
Drawbacks/counters: The kenjutsu component of this technique could be done with freeform and then allow the user to perform something like Fire Release: Great Flame Flower and release not just one fireball, but three. There's also the fact that this technique requires a sword on hand, which may be an issue based on bio description or simply being disarmed at some point in the midst of a battle.

Perform the technique:Kneading chakra within his chest and making the Tiger hand-seal, Ithnan then forcefully releases it from his mouth whilst applying nature transformation, creating a stream of fire. Aimed at an angle towards the ground, the fire then quickly establishes a burning column after bursting upwards, flinging everything not incinerated into the air.
Creative uses/strengths: In my opinion, the best aspect of this technique is its ability to rise up a few meters. When the opponent sees the fire approaching, they need to act fast. Should they make a barricade, it would impede their sight along with the large fiery pillar. If the opponent flees to the air, I'd likely use Wind Release: Vacuum Sphere as a follow up. This technique would work well with say, Earth Release: Swamp of the Underworld, which would prevent the enemy from using earth-based techniques that would provide safe leverage or a barricade.
Drawbacks/counters: In comparison to Fire Release: Flame Pillar Technique, it seems to be less viable. It is limited to short-range only, whereas the Flame Pillar Technique can reach up yo mid-range. Also, the latter technique doesn't require a hand-seal, unlike this technique. It can be countered in much the same way.

Re: Katon with noni1997

Thanks for the quick responses, and the explanatory details.

Fire Release: Ash Pile Burning - I kinda feel like this technique is a surprise, if we considered it in the manga. There's no fire or intense flames, to immediately give it away as a fire release technique. To an extent, I'm concerned about it all being blown back onto me if I use it, but I could also just use it a bit in front of me and then use a wind technique. I'm appreciative of its uniqueness (not a fireball, or even three) and that it'd work well with wind (desired affinity).

Fire Release: Flame Pillar Technique - It's not a technique likely to give the opponent too much concern, still, I like that it's not an up front, in your face kind of technique. It targets the opponent's legs or the ground in the vicinity, but when it makes a pillar, the opponent has to be wary before and after the technique is initiated and can put them on the defensive.

Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique - One of the more simplistic techniques, nonetheless, it's still rather powerful. Unlike most of the fireball techniques, it boasts impressive range possibilities and can release three large fireballs, with only a single hand-seal. It's fast, strong, and has good reach. I appreciate that they are shaped like dragon heads.

Fire Release: Exploding Flame Shots - Perhaps my least favorite of the five, I like that it eschews size for numbers, and can move quite fast. Also, each shot detonates and creates strong impacts, which is more practical than some other jutsu.

Fire Release: Flame Whirlwind - Yet another breaking the generic mold, I like that it is omnidirectional. It's equally capable of both offense and defense at the same time, and can force an unsuspecting opponent away a good distance in retreat.

Re: Katon with noni1997

Thank you :) Your a great student as well.

Also where is your lightning? Have you learned lightning release: Sixteen pillar bind?

(Katon: Zukokku) - Fire Release: Intelligent Hard Work
Rank: A
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user after performing the required hand seals Rat → Dog → Tiger fires a small fireball that erupts into a giant fire-storm after making contact with a surface, causing widespread destruction to the area. Since the flames travel along the ground, and cover such a wide area this is a difficult technique to evade. When combined with Wind Release: Pressure Damage, this technique is amplified to the point of being able to evaporate a large amount of water in an instant.

We will only perform its basic form. The user will gather a very large sum of katon chakra and do 3 hand seals. They will spew a fireball which on contact of the ground a inferno if flames will spread instantly with great pace into a inferno of fire. The flames are extremely powerful and can seriously alter a terrain burning everything in its path as well as burn down trees. As the fireball it sent to the ground it is a little large so you will not see through it or around it to notice the opponent as well as when the fire is spreading which is a disadvantage. It causes wide spread destruction and can move up to mid range at most, surprisingly it does not go any farther then that. This is one of the more powerful attacks of fire release and is a favorite. You can use this with a wind jutsu pressure damage to create an even more powerful fire attack which goes up to long range as well as evaporate water source quickly. So it is a great terrain changing technique. After the flames are sent they go on their own making it mainly projectile so you can send other attacks after, masking a lightning spear or lightning attack behind it makes for a great combo. Ways to counter can be to push backwards which is the most obvious.

(Katon: Keshi Makuga Hara) - Fire Release: Exploding Flame Crater
Rank: A
Type: Offense
Range: Mid-Long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user first stomps on the ground, using his fire chakra and making an underground tunnel from between themselves and the opponent. They then breathe out fire into the tunnel, causing the fire carry rock and other debris with it as it travels, melting them. With a single hand seal, the molten rock debris will erupt from the ground underneath the opponent, engulfing them and burning them alive.

Another great technique of the fire release. A user stomps on the ground and creates a tunnel that runs towards the opponent from the users position, meaning their will be a tunnel between the two. The user will then breathe fire into the tunnel from their mouth, the fire will mix with the earth creating super hot molten debris. When traveling towards the opponent when it gets in range of the opponent one hand seal and the hot debris will erupt under the opponent burning them terribly. The fire moves rather slow through the tunnel moves rather slow and its super straightforward but if used correctly its brilliant if you can bind the opponent. It can travel up to long range, but be sure not to use it close to yourself since you might get caught in the eruption. When you send the fire in the tunnel it will move by itself so while it moves slow you can send an attack to bind or distract them, by then it will reach the opponent and you can perform the hand seal to cause the eruption.

(Katon: Hokori Tenka no Jutsu) - Fire Release: Dust Ignition Technique
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: The user will first ignites a flame of fire across the ground infront of them and then they will enhance that fire with a gust of wind to extend the range of the fire

This is a very similar version to intelegent fire, now the user will gather katon chakra in their mouths a spew a large amount of flames towards the ground which will then travel through the ground to the opponent burning them. Its a much quicker jutsu but does not cover a wide range and is more narrow and straight forward so simple evasions can be done. It burns the ground as it travels and can disrupt the terrain to an extent. Using a wind jutsu along side with it will increase the flames and allow it to travel faster and longer. Also the flames as it runs through the ground they will begin to rise so you will not see through the flames but since it is more narrow you can see through the sides if the opponent goes that way. Counters are simple like before since it only goes up to mid range you can push back. Other counters are also available.

Re: Katon with noni1997

I'm currently in the middle of B-Ranks, so I haven't learned it yet.

Perform the technique: After taking a brief moment to knead a large amount of chakra within his throat, Ithnan then makes three hand-seals: Rat -> Dog -> Tiger and spews a small fireball towards the ground in front of him, where upon contact it erupts into a large firestorm that burst forward several meters whilst incinerating near everything.
Creative uses/strengths: This technique basically consumes everything in its path, which is quite expansive even without using wind in conjecture. On its own, the fire technique can force the opponent back and at the same time, clear away any traps or mud (from earth techniques). When used with a wind technique, the user truly will be pressured to flee as a counter offense is unlikely to work under most circumstance (fire released first can evaporate bodies of water used for some stronger water techniques) and simple defenses are meaningless.
Drawbacks/counters: With something as powerful as this technique, I do agree with you about its sheer size being more or less the only notable drawback.

Perform the technique: Kneading some chakra within his left foot, Ithnan forcefully stomps down upon the ground below him and releases the chakra so as to form a tunnel connecting him to his desired target. After creating the tunnel, Ithnan then breathes a stream of fire directly into it, where it travels covertly underground before violently bursting upwards at the other end of the tunnel.
Creative uses/strengths: I feel that for such a strong technique, it's actually quite subtle under the right circumstances. Not only are no hand-seals required, but the user instead stomps the ground, which is a simple action. The trick is to conceal the fire being blown into the self-made tunnel, I think a simple genjutsu could be of use, one that limits vision, and can be timed with Earth Release: World Shaking to throw the opponent's footing off too. Between losing their sight and their footing, the flames would have time to reach their destination and erupt.
Drawbacks/counters: It takes time for the flames to reach the target, and it's also quite obvious as to what's occurring. Earth techniques could be used to collapse/shift the tunnel beneath and nullify it entirely. Also, as the heat is felt beneath, one could use Wind Release: Wind Stream to quickly move away.

Perform the technique: Upon accumulating a large amount of chakra within his throat, Ithnan then expels it in the form of a stream of fire that streaks across the ground in front him, via nature transformation. It incinerates everything everything in a narrow strip in front of Ithnan,
Creative uses/strengths: I might use this technique in conjecture with an earth technique, such as Earth Release: Earth Flow River, which would knock the opponent off balance and away, before getting trapped by hardened mud and then severally burned. It might move in a more concentrated than Fire Release: Intelligent Hard Work, but it requires no hand-seals and yet offers the same raw power.
Drawbacks/counters: It runs along the ground, so using it over a body of water would limit its range and barricades could also be used, if the opponent doesn't just want to reposition using something like Wind Release: Wind Stream.

Re: Katon with noni1997

Keep going like this, last 3 of this rank.

(Katon: Goka no Jutsu) - Fire Release: Hellfire Technique
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: The user will manipulate their chakra and breath out from their mouth a large fireball that travels at the opponent. As it reaches the opponent it bursts into a maelstrom of fire engulfing them in flames.

The user will send a fireball towards the opponent by gather the katon chakra and send it from their mouths, its of large size so you will not see through or around it when first sent so be weary of that. I would say as large as the uchia fireball and it is very dense with heat and fire, it travels fast straight to the opponent and when it gets in short range of the opponent, it bursts into a maelstrom of fire which attempts to engulf the opponent in flames burning them from all over their bodies. This is a projectile based technique so combos can work with it well something simple like to restrict the opponents movement with binding techniques. Very easy to perform and fast as well so its a great technique to use.

( Katon: Goka Honoo no Hashira Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Great Fire Flame Pillars Technique
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: The user will knead their fire chakra and release it into the ground by stomping down their leg and then causing three pillars of fire several meters tall spaced out evenly. The Pillars of fire can act as a defensive wall against incoming techniques or targets or used to attack low aerial targets.

The user will focus katon chakra onto 3 evenly spaced areas on the terrain anywhere short to mid range. With a stomp on the ground you will activate the katon chakra which will have 3 very large fire pillars to be released and rise where you concentrated the three fire chakra location. This pillars are great to use as defensive walls, though each are equvialent to B-Rank fire power. Also you can use to attack multiple targets who are standing next to one another or trying to overpower the opponent with constant attacks and limit space around them, and it can hit low aerial targets/summons. Fast to use and right after they are released you can move onto the next jutsu for a follow up so its great with combos. Before the pillars officially begin to rise the opponent can notice the heat on the ground so it will allow a small window of evasion or stopping the technique. Using a over flowing water tech over the terrain to prevent them from rising is basic.

(Katon: Ryuen Hoka no Jutsu) - Fire Release: Dragon Flame Release Song Technique
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: After performing the hand seal Tiger the user compresses a large amount of chakra built up inside their body, before instead expelling it in the form of a number of dragon head-shaped fireballs. The user then skilfully manipulates that great fire, and attacks their opponent. The temperature of the created flames is so great that, even with the briefest of contact, they are capable of easily burning human flesh and the fireballs are dense enough to behave almost as solid, being able to deliver impact damage in adition to the fire damage. However, this also means that they can be deflected as a solid projectiles.

This jutsu is very similar to the B-Rank fire jutsu Fire release: Great Dragon Fire. The user with one hand seals will send towards the opponent a number of dragon shaped fireballs from their mouths, this is a great jutsu to use to attack more then one targer as well. All of this and can travel any range as well making it mobile. The fireballs are of intense and great heat. They are very dense as well but can back fire. The power is so great that a small touch of the fire can burn the opponent badly. They are projectile based attacks with that being said the attacks are straight forward as they are sent and can be used with combo attacks greatly, adding wind to create large amount of fireballs would be great. The more fireballs you send the weaker they get.
