Urasan: For starters, water techniques are commonly used by fellow Kirigakure shinobi; they usually have affinities for it.
Urasan: Thus, some of the most proficient users of suiton, such as Mei Terumī and Kisame Hoshigaki, hail from our village.
Saki: Also, Tobirama Senju of Konohagakure was reputed to be quite skilled in water techniques too.

Urasan: Suiton is just what it seems to be; the manipulation of preexisting water or water expelled from one's mouth.
Urasan: Usually, the strength of such jutsu rely on the water's concussive force, however...

Saki: What that means is that suiton naturally extinguishes katon, but, gets muddy due to doton and usually loses its force.
Urasan: Both fūton and raiton can be used in conjecture with suiton jutsu, greatly increasing the power of the initial jutsu.​

For the shield, both brothers channel their chakra into the water that is in their immediate vicinity and draws a small volume of water upwards, making two small shields*

Now manipulate your water chakra and channel it into your hand to create a sword. You can use it like a normal sword except for the fact that its made of water.

• It would also overpower an enemy's sword, if it's infused with fire.

• This jutsu could be paired with Silent Killing.

• An opposing blade that is streaming Raiton chakra could paralyze/stun the user.

Strong points: It won't overpower an enemy's weapon if it is metallic, infused with fire chakra. Can you tell me what will happen in that case?

Weak points: You don't have to take out your weapon. You can simply extend your hand and manipulate water. Very useful when it comes to short range fighting. You won't have time to take out your sword against fast opponents.
