In many versus threads the Six Paths of Pain seems to have a supposed weakness.....
genjutsu,
many people seem to say that visual genjutsu should take down all paths at once including Nagato.
I have come to a conclusion that visual Genjutsu simply does not effect the six paths of Pain in that way.
This is what we know about genjutsu
What you basically need to know about genjutsu is that through "affecting" the senses of your target (visual, sound or any human sense) you can mess with the targets chakra flow to the brain.
This gives your target false emotions or senses according to the genjutsu.
As can be seen here, Jiraiya traps 3 of the 6 paths in a sound genjutsu
It is possible to trap the paths in a genjutsu.
So if all the paths eyes are linked shouldn't that effect all of the paths at once including Nagato if you trap even one path in a visual genjutsu?
well...no.
The paths all share one mind (Nagato) as well .....right?
and since all genjutsu types effect the brain .
That would mean that when Jiraiya got the 3 paths in a genjutsu that should have affected all the paths including Nagato (all the paths are one mind)
So the fact that their eyes are all linked makes no difference as their minds are all linked.
In other words it doesn't matter what form of genjutsu you use (visual, sound, touch) they all ultimately effect the brain.
and since Jiraiya got 3 of the 6 paths in a genjutsu and only affected 3 of the paths as appose to all the paths including Nagato), visual genjutsu wont make any differance....in fact its worse as you can only effect 1 path at a time.

but if you got what Im trying to say that should clear that up.
Another thing to note: Nagato should be able to stop the chakra flow and restart it again If a path(s) are caught in a genjutsu. So the only way to get the six paths of pein (and Nagato) into a unbreakable genjutsu is to target Nagato himself.
and even then we don't know Nagato's resistance to genjutsu.
