So I am planning on building my own PC.
Here is what I made :

It is a complete build, including the Monitor Keyboard and Mouse.
What is your opinion on it ? Would you change anything without affecting the price ?

You could have saved a little on cooler and ram, and got a R9 280X instead of the 760, I think.

Why does everyone build the PC's?
I mean, just f*cking pay a bit more and don't wait until you buy every part

Well in my opinion get a better cooler like the NH-U14S, The ram if it is only for gaming get a 8 GB Corsair Vengeance, and if I was you I would go Haswell since it consumes less power.
Good luck with your build.

Thank you, I have changed my Cooler to NH-U14s and taken 8GB Corsair Vengeance.

An intel 3570k is a much better value and really there's only a 5% difference in performance between a 3570k and i7 3770k in gaming. If you put the money saved towards a better GPU you'll see much higher frames per second.

You can get a good gaming mouse off newegg/amazon for the price you're paying for that mouse liste.
Why do you want a blu ray drive? Unless you have bluray DVD's it's useless and the money could go towards a better gpu. A GPU can already play Bluray and doesn't require a Bluray drive to do so. So I don't see the point. A standard DVD drive that also writes DVD's is $15, that means you could have more money towards a better GPU.
Go with a Hyper 212 evo cpu cooler, $30 and hardly a difference between the CPU cooler you listed. Seriously, only maybe 2-3C difference. Is it really worth $40 extra? Put the saved money towards a better GPU.
If you want to overclock high, go with one stick of ram. That's only for overclocking tho.
Artic Silver isn't that good, it used to be and people still swear by it but there was a test done a year or two ago which showed it's now one of the worst thermal grease to put on your CPU. The cooler master grease that comes with a 212 Evo is actually better.
I like the Case.
Here's a cheaper keyboard/mouse and they are a combo for $30

Don't get Hasewell it's only a 10% difference and not worth the cost.

The money you could save by following what I typed and putting it towards a better GPU will make your gaming PC a monster that will play games at a higher graphic level than consoles without lowering the settings and you'll most likely not have to start lowering settings until about another 6-8 years.

I recomend getting an SSD (Solid State Drive) as a main OS hard drive. This will seriously make game load times 10x faster than a standard hard drive and your PC will boot and load applications extremely fast. Here's a good one

Tho you do not need a solid state drive and they have no impact on gaming performance.

After looking at the case, you don't actually need that case fan as your Case comes with one and I do not see a place on the side window for a case fan so it's not really needed. The fan it comes with will move air decently enough to not justify a $20 fan.

Since we got you down to around $1300, let's re-invest the money saved into a better GPU.

- $509

-$499

Tho your current card that's listed is more than enough.
Remember tho that if you can get an item refurbished from Amazon then try find one and do so. That's what I do and it saves a lot of money.

To those reading, no PC gaming doesn't have to be this expensive and you can build a PC that can beat this generation's consoles for the price of the GPU's I've listed above.

Why does everyone build the PC's?

Why would you buy a computer completely? Do you have any idea how over priced a store bought gaming computer is?

Alienware Aurora
$1,499.00

Intel® Core™ i7 Extreme Processor
Windows 7 Home Premium
8GB Memory
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 680 with 2GB GDDR5

NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 680 with 2GB GDDR5
The guy here is building a computer that destroys this one for the same price and could destroy it for even less. That's why you build your own. It's not even a 700 series card.

The people who buy that crap are brainless. Why pay more money for shitty hardware compared to what you could build for the same price?

You helped me a lot! Thank you :)

By the way, how does SSD work ? Do I need something to plug it into or ?

No problem.

You plug it in just like an internal Hard drive because it is an Internal Hard Drive. So just connect it to your board through a Sata Cable along with the power cord from your power supply. Then go into your bios and enable AHCI along with anything with the word ROM under storage configurations. You may also need to enable the Sata external port in the storage configuration settings as well. Then just save changes and install windows. If you have any questions when building your computer just PM me or VM me.

As for how they work, they do not use a disk like a regular hard drive. Consider it a bigger, faster flash drive that you can boot from. It's incredibly fast, makes installing applications a breeze and using the computer much more faster.

I was going to suggest a few tips, however -Yard- beat me to it. There's no reason(in my opinion) to get an i7 if you're just going to be gaming. One other thing is don't get a wireless mouse. As per previous experiences with it, wireless mouses usually bog out for no reason after a few months of use.

One thing I dislike about wireless mouse/keyboard is that I have to replace the batteries, which is why I think I will just buy the wired ones.

Alright, from what you have described SSD seems to be worth extra 80$ :p
