Paths o' Pain: Does it matter how strong they are...

Say... if Tobi decided to use random fodder ninja if he hadn't the edo Jins... Would that make a difference in their fire power...? (let's take out the tailed beast out of the equation for argument sake) Much like Nagato's vessels... (or was it mentioned elsewhere that they were exceptional ninja while alive)...

I'm simply wondering if any fodder ninja would be exceptional when being controlled by the Renigan, heh.

No the Edo jins were far better. They retained their abilities and if Tobi was proficient enough with the Rinnegan they would of also each had a Path of Pain.

Lava Release Armour + Taijutsu Path = Lethal

Corrosion/Acid Based Attacks + Asura Path = Biological Warfare

Bug Related/Blinding Technique + Preta Path = Easier to counter Susann'o

That's what I had thought, tho am still not sure if they also had Nagato's path-like abilities, tho it sounds like Tobi isn't as proficient as Nagato was with his... (either due to not enough experience with said eye), or due to the fact that he only has one Renigan eye... Hard too say... It could easily be either of those said two, but more likely than not due to plot no Jutsu... (hate when that happens Dx).

Methinks it's simply because Nagato's path's were not as UP as Tobi's bodies-choices... (possible more-so, as there may be a chance that Tobis' paths' Could be as powerful as Nagato's, Coupled with their Jin abilities)...

I posted something similar to this like "Why did Nagato choose THOSE shinobi and not elite?" I honestly think it wouldnt change that much except the jinchuuriki powers.

Edit: Just thought of something new...

Picture this: Edo Gaara. His mothers soul still bound to his soul... Or would he lose his auto-defense... (As he's basically bound to her will; n doubt even in death ...) ...Which is no doubt why Kishi decided not too make him an edo... One would first think, tho if one thinks about it; would he not still be seal-able even if all def-fenced up, and would that also not make it a moot point; considering he'd not have to worry about taking damage in the first...

Only certian ppl are able to handle the bijuu power the nine junjirichi are chosen cuz of there will power and already existing massive chakra load (even without bijuu)

Nagato's path were'nt able to use only one ability :sy:


Deva path was able to use water style and summon the gedo statue

Nagato used 6 ordinary (it seems) shinobis for paths each body with its proper path ability, Tobi on the other hand used the paths jinchurikis with their abilities (Lava, water mirror, bubbles, insect powder ...) without the rinnegan abilities ...IDK really

We won't be seeing the other 3 abilities noe tho... What a let down from Kishi about that; coupled with the fact that he rushed things and didn't even show a flashback into each of their (potentially drawn-out matches) being Nins and all... Especially the perfect Jin; the 2 tails I believe...

Edit: granted that it was the Goku monkey that was speaking with Naruto... (how unlikely is that one compared to the perfects' speaking with him instead...)
