Paths for Peace-Part One: Kaguya

Thank you for coming and to begin allow me to basically tell you that it this thread is one of a set. I am basically proposing that I have uncovered the overall plot. Yeah, I know most of us have, but these threads will basically focus on the symbolism that Kishimoto uses in the story and how it focuses on the different paths in which the characters take and how it relates to Indra, Kaguya, Ashura's is a little self explanatory, but I will also discuss how it all ties in to the So6P’s overall plot for peace.

Part 1 Kaguya

All in all kaguya’s portion is the easiest to explain.

Kaguya is the first individual noted in the NV to try and bring peace to the entire world. Kaguya sought to bring peace through over powering the warring armies and for a time this indeed brought peace, however this peace did not last long.

Kaguya however became influence by her own power and became conceited/ arrogant. Why?

Kaguya lost touch with the ppl that she was trying to help and started to believe only in her own ability. As a result ppl started to fear Kaguya and instead of being known as the malevolent Rabbit Goddess, Kaguya became known as a cruel demon. It goes without saying that with ppl viewing Kaguya as a demon they no longer wanted her to rule, so being arrogant as she was Kaguya gave up on mankind, viewing them as creatures unworthy of free will and therefore utilized Infinite Tsukuyomi. Now some may argue that Kaguya did not give up on humanity as a whole, but in recent chapter Kaguya's stated that "it is time for all to become one" meaning all humanity.

Kaguya's Path

Though the majority of the characters that have followed the path of Kaguya had at one point given up on this world, giving up on this world is not really essential to Kaguya's path because Kaguya at one point cared for mankind. Kaguya's path is to seek peace through your own power without relying on others or considering wills or ideas of others and this path ALWAYS leads to becoming the individual becoming conceited. Though that have followed Kaguya's path are: Itachi, Obito, and Madara.

Now I know most of you are thinking "ITACHI???? GTFO," but Kaguya is called the Rabbit Goddess for a reason. In different countries there are different depictions that are famous for being on the surface on the moon. In some cultures its a beautiful lady, in others a man, but in Japan the most well known depiction is a rabbit pounding mochi. XD

Kaguya's path is symbolized as the Full Moon and Kishimoto usually places this illustration when a character embarks on Kaguya's path and even when said character is having an important moment.
Itachi:

Obito:

Madara:

Notice how in each event Kishi seemingly for no reason at all places a panel with the full moon in view seemingly for no reason at all.

Itachi though still having faith in humanity, trusted no one else in accomplishing his purpose. Itachi sought to bring peace to the village through his own power whether that meant murdering his clan, deceiving others in order to work out his purpose, or even binding his younger brother into a preset course by a permanent genjutsu, sound familiar? (coughs: Infinite Tsukuyomi).

Obito without a doubt took Kaguya's path. Obito adapted Madara's mentality trivializing the free will of others, solely believing in his own ideology, and viewed the entire world as Failure

Madara began to mirror the path of Kaguya when he gave up on this world

I know Madara's was a bit short, but the current story is showing how Madara mirrors Kaguya if you notice all three of these characters are of the Uchiha clan and there is a reason for that, but I can't really go into it without stepping into my next thread which focuses on Indra.

That being said, Kaguya Path is the failure that prompted the So6P which prompted him to try to find an alternative means for peace.

Hope you enjoyed the thread and watch out for the next thread of this series which I will try to get out the next thread either tomorrow or Tuesday seeing how there is a lot more research to go through.

Special Thanks to Sparks for helping with the scans

Thanks for reading:bye:

kaguya deffintly has something to do with the moon. since she seems to be the tree or something im thinking she planned to use madara and obito to ensure her own revival and the end of the world. since it wants everyone to become connected to the tree under the tsukyomi, that means become one. tobito at the five kage summit also said that too. so i think its will is in madara obito and zetsu

Well, yeah IMO Kaguya dwells within the tree or possibly even became the shinjuu at one point, maybe as a result of eating the fruit, but she is definitely influencing Madara to find out to what degree we r gonna have to wait and see.

Very good thread bro. I agree with all your points.

I also wanna add, just as food for thought. I believe that maybe Kaguya became one with the juubi,(either by her own means, or when hagaromo fought the juubi) truth is I don't really know how yet but I think that it is possible. Anyways going off that possibility, guess where the juubi/kaguya were sealed afterwards, the moon. Interesting isn't it.

Kaguya is full moon/left/closed eyes/horns/heaven...
She is Yin , wasn't that obvious?

I don't think you can just say that Kaguya represents yin seeing how the yang powers had to come from somewhere.

Look at the first draw:

Kaguya:heaven(horns)/spirit(closed eyes)/left=Yin ; the fruit:Earth/right/life=Yang.

Great theory! I liked the way you tied in the chosen paths of Itachi, Obito and Madara to Kaguya.

For each one of them, they all had great power but were not able to use it in order to solve their problems, thus becoming arrogant and adopting views similar to Kaguya's.
