Veyr good reason,i see this happening too sine throughout the chunin exams era,we saw gaara paying very close attention to neji like wen ten ten detailed the effectiveness of the kaitn compared to the sand,and another instance was wen ten ten was about to fight temari u could see gaara and nejo glarin at each ather as if to size each ather up,this continues into neji vs hinata wen baki noted that the match made gaara unstable and awoke his inner demon which u can see by his expression..meanwhile neji seemed to care less for lee vs gaara untill gates,so based on that its seems that neji could in fact hang with gaara..

Yes it will..who do u think dies first,take note that if neji hits gaara in his heart,it will ko him since he is not one for pain..eg.chidori and a hit from juunken to the heart should be much worse

Team Neji, mid diff. Neji is the key man in this fight, he switches on his byakugan and (no pun intended) sees through kurasu. He would be able to tell Lee which one is the real Kankurou (and then he would proceed to solo), hell he could even cut his chakra strings that are attached to kurasu and solo kank on the spot.

Temari would beat Tenten and would proceed to fight Lee, who would beat her pretty comfortably. He could then assist Neji in defeating Gaara. Even in a 1vs1, Neji is a bad matchup for Gaara (juuken cuts through chakra, the sand is made up of chakra so...you get the point). Neji would kill Gaara before he could release Shukaku and team Neji would win. While it would technically be a win for team Neji, Shukaku would then be free from Gaara and he'd eat everyone but that doesn't matter.

Very logical points about kurasu nd also temari but i actually see lee taking temari out before ten ten is down with a bliz save den they procceed to blow her away
