I could be mistaken, but... Wasn't Mada Oro's newest summon at one point; prior to which he had a lesser snake summon that was only half the size of Manda?

Man I wonder if Madara has a summon other than the Juubi now...

Orochimaru had other summons just like Jiraiya can summon any one of the toads on Mount Myoboku. Manda is Orochimaru's *Main* summon though, like his go to for difficult situations and opponents.
