Honestly it just depends on how far Kishi wants to develop the kids, any one of them can be superior to the other depending on what Kishi wants to do.

My thoughts...

Boruto
if he really is the child prodigy, then it is exciting to know how Naruto's backstory and Boruto's beginnings collide...
About Bolt's movesets, hmmmm Lightning Rasengan is on its way, pretty agreeable... Jyuken, he can have that taijutsu style even without the Byakugan, right? Should we see shadow clones? Why not, but really, Im not pushing it tho. I am looking for a more close combat style for Boruto, knowing he has Hyuga descent minus the Byakugan maybe.

Sarada
finally a potential rival role for a female or something. She can take that role. She has the smarts, I guess and being an Uchiha, what can we expect from her?? Fundamentally, she has Katon, and Sakura would have taught her medical capabilities... I think she's like Sakura added with extra features err, fire techs... I would wish a time out for dojutsus tho, for both Boruto and Sarada...

New Ino-Shika-Cho, pretty much the same dynamics, modified, enhanced formation, focusing on individual abilities is another thing tho.

Inojin
He can display new varieties of Yamanaka techs... The first time I learned about Inojin, I thought, "yep he couold use sai's techniques when he's alone, I mean Ino isnt much of a solo player..."
Another is that, Ino is a sensor and Sai is more of a recon person.

Shikadai
Learning Fuuton is a possibility, if he finds time to train... I cant imagine him bringing a fan or something. Im not pushing Wind user Shikadai early in the game.
Yes he could play more with his shadow techs, ooops wait, maybe Asuma's air blade or something, right?

Chocho
Uhmmm, I am finding a hard time picturing a girl going cannonball, and those partial expansion techs... individually, I see her having a sword like her mom, and has a combat style like Killer B's and then go cannonball.

How about Lee's son?
Well, he definitely another Lee in our lives, i dunno if he's more passionate than Lee tho or not.

Himawari, of course. The cutest little thing.
she's still young tho, I can see her hanging out with Hinata and Hanabi most of the time, and maybe with Grandpop Hiashi uuuuu. She is my Baby Hinata <3
Maybe retcon or something and give her the Byakugan. Ugh, them eyes are more likely to be recessive traits, cmon give the Byakugan a chance, forgive me Im a fan here :D

Shikadai's Bud, maybe more like Naruto-Konohamaru dynamics sort of thing

I want to see how Oro and the gang especially Karin and where they did end up... Part 3 is close tying anyway...
