Neji and Jiraiya, obviously (RIP Pervy Sage). Suckske will either die in the final battle, or become a roming ninja, as someone else suggested. Not much of a role left for that character in part 3.

Looks like Shikamaru might be heading out to do some sort of TDY in the sand village (bait for ShikaTema shippers?). So possibly that character could have less coverage in part 3.

I would like to see Kishimoto introduce some new characters. A strong female and new rival for Naruto to spur his development in a different way.

Chances are there won't be a part 3 beyond a series of shitty movies, I wouldn't get your hopes up at this point. Of course, I could be wrong, and I personally hope that I am, as I don't want only a shitty series of movies to look forward to.
