damn, I remember getting all caught up, I got caught up right when Juubito was being defeated. I was so hyped with everything that was happening, the tree, all the mystery, the Madara hype. Sasuke and Naruto getting offed, Madara being a beast and having an awesomely godlike personality. It was great shit...up until Kaguya....
But everything before that was great shit, in fact at it's best Part 2 was better than Part 1 imo, though Part 1 was certainly more solid all around, Part 2 just had a more alluring plot. I would even say Kaguya's entrance was handled well, Black Zetsu stabbing Madara was extremely unexpected to me and seeing Madara blow up was ironically hilarious, in a good way, because it did a good job to hype up the last fight. Madara, this super serious and intimidating character that thought he had everything under control, gets turned into confetti, and out pops satan girl. She teleports everyone to lava world, cool shit, the scene with her crying made me interested in her twisted character. But then...sexy no jutsu...
After that the tension vanished, because I realized there was no way with the tone kishimoto had set that team 7 was in any real danger. I'm hoping the anime improves the tone of the fight and makes Kaguya's character more sinister.
But forreal everything before sexy jutsu penis version was great, I had hardly any complaints which surprised me because of how huge and decisive the plot was becoming.
