Kakashi states after using "the lightning Edge, Summoning, and the sharingan" he has used up to much chakra.

i know this is a old thing though.

but he like summoned up about 25 clones -_- i know it's probably a illusion maybe. but maybe someone can give me a better detailed version of it?

Kakashi summoned normal clones. They take very little chakra to do. Hell, even Sakura could make a bunch of them in pre-shippuden. All the Jutsu used by Kakashi were high level, that's why he was low on Chakra, but normal clones take so little chakra he could summon those ones to help appear intimidating.

That's why Naruto can't even form any normal clones, no matter how much chakra he puts into it. Because, they take so little to form, Naruto's chakra is denser than others so they cannot be formed by his chakra at all. I think atleast. i know. but i was just still wondering about that since he said he had little chakra left and out popped about 15 kakashi's in the frontline x 3 rows of kakashi's which is like 45 clones.

Doesn't matter how much chakra you have. He can do an infinite number, but each has that fraction of his current chakra, so doing anymore is risky to his health. That's why it's a kinjutsu.

So basically if he even only had 10% of his chakra left, you can still divide 10 by 25 without reaching 0. There's just not much in each to do much with.

My point exactly, it was a genjutsu or a trick, it wasn't an actual clone like Narutos..

Doesn't matter how much chakra you have. He can do an infinite number, but each has that fraction of his current chakra, so doing anymore is risky to his health. That's why it's a kinjutsu.

So basically if he even only had 10% of his chakra left, you can still divide 10 by 25 without reaching 0. There's just not much in each to do much with.

it takes skill to create that much clones, as you need to haev impressive chakra control to be able to do that. It's risky, which is why only Naruto has ever really summoned mass amounts of clones.

What i said is still true. Kakashi is skilled enough, but making so many would leave the original and the clones for that matter with little chakra. Naruto has enough chakra that even 1% is more than the average shinobi.

makes sense. thanks for clearing it up a bit. i thought it was somewhat just an illusional trick or copying naruto's jutsu, multiplying his 5 to about 9 times
