Knowledge: Canon knowledge from Part I.
Battlefield: A forest
Distance: 50 meters
Scenario 1: If ANYBODY on Team 7 dies, Team Gai wins. Both teams know this. Teams get 5 minutes of prep time. Gamabunta is restricted.
Scenario 2: Same as Scenario 1, but Team Gai also loses if ANYBODY on their team dies.

Team Gai instantly murder Sakura and win, if not then Naruto is assigned to defend her and Sasuke eliminates Tenten. Most likely Sakura dies though.

Damn, I just realized after making this thread that Naruto can make a bunch of clones and disguise them as Sakura. I don't think Team Gai has a decent counter for that?

Neji would be able to tell which one was the real Sakura. The only reason he couldn't tell in Chunin Exams was because Naruto split up his chakra evenly, but Naruto would not be able to match his chakra/chakra network to mimic Sakura's well enough if at all.

Yeah cos they are the weakest link in the team, but Naruto shadow clones could simply defend Sakura until tenten is defeated by Sasuke or him.

Neji locates Sakura and Lee do the rest of the job and take her out first. Team Gai wins.

Team 7 would win in both scenarios. Naruto simply borrows chakra from Kurama to summon Gamabunta to act as a guard for Sakura and then him and Sasuke wreck the rest.

Or Naruto and Sasuke simply tap into Kurama's chakra and the Curse Mark and take Team Gai out without Sakura getting anywhere near the battle zone. Naruto 2K Rendan was enough to put Partial Transformation Gaara out of commission hence him transforming to his full bijuu state. That's enough to take out Lee and Tenten.

Either way, Sakura doesn't need to be near the fight zone and Naruto and Sasuke can handle them with just the two of them. Naruto and Sasuke at their strongest are far above any member of this team.
