Part 1 Sakura perspective.

I always did wondered on the perspective of characters during their period in Part 1(and not 2 at all where the development starts). So going to start with Sakura Haruno first during her period in Part 1 which has plenty of mixed views when it came to Naruto fans.

So here is a question, what is your personal opinion on Part 1 Sakura, this is not reflected on her appearance and personality change during the period of Part 2.

What I thought about part 1 Sakura huh? Let's just say part 1 Sakura can be described by one word from me. It starts with a B.


She was extremely annoying, and had no purpose. All about Sasuke, and treating Naruto like dirt. She was insensitive and even went so far as to assume anything good happened because of Sasuke and not Naruto. (that infamous post-Garra scene) I sometimes slip into the opinion that Sakura didn't develop, but that's not true. She just didn't develop enough, but it's miles beyond what she was in part 1.

I admit in the beginning when I was 8 (that was how old I was when I first got into Naruto) I didn't pay attention to her that much because I was more into Hinata. But I look back and think how less I thought of Sakura and I just started to like her cause she's sorta like me. But I do admit that Part I Sakura was bad. Really bad, but I won't hold that against her. Just blame it on Kishi.

Annoying for the most part. Though it was good that she ended up caring for Naruto opposed to the start, and her goal to catch up to her team mates and not be cannon fodder -to put it bluntly- was admirably.
