Part 1 Naruto

I'm asking myself right now how many of you guys have the same opinion as me. I enjoyed part 1 Naruto way more than 2.

-The world seemed way bigger

-The CM had this whole power of darkness thing going on and would eventually change Sasuke for the worse and severely shorten his life

-Orochimaru was the best villain imo and he seemed extremely strong

-Itachi killed the clan because he wanted to test his limits etc. The way he beat up those other Uchiha and the way he talked to them hinted towards him being evil. I know some things said otherwise, but we all thought he was a maniac and I would've prefered it this way

Those are just some of the things I liked about part 1 and the things part 2 took a big, meaty dumb on.

Yeah and rock lee being able solo everyone but Gaara. Lee was also crippled to prevent himself from becoming stronger.

And if i may add, Part 1 was filled with Awesome Taijutsu.

P1 was a lot different than p2 because in p1, Kishi was establishing the story, the universe, and the characters, whereas in p2 he was focused on solving the issues that had been presented in p1. In P2 the focus was on advancing the plot to conclude the story, whereas in p1 the focus was just creating a world and establishing the plotlines. I think this is a big reason why p2 was quite different.

IMO, I really enjoyed both.

I 100% with you on this. The first part was just giving us a taste of what's going on and what could happen. Part two, however, was meant to finish up what was started. Show bigger and badder fight scenes while giving mini obstacles for the characters to overcome.

Orochimaru is a decent character, but why would anyone say he was the best villain?

He just felt like your regular lunatic, who wants to mess with people because he thinks he is stronger, and everyone should obey his desires for power. There is nothing touching or deep about his motives for his actions. No drama or tragedy to add.

Moreover, I still don't get why he attacked Konoha. That question if I am not mistaken, was even raised in the manga itself. Was it answered? I don't remember such thing. And later on, he just devolved into some pedo who had a boner for Sasuke and Sharingan... Despite Naruto being technically the one that kicked the most ass, and solved all the major parts of the problems/battles in Part I, while Sasuke took the back-seat.


I respect and relate to his idea of striving for knowledge, and doing everything to learn more techniques and what the world has to offer.
But that premise did not really end up prominent enough in his role as a villain. And turned into more like "OH SASUKE-KUN! BABY!
