We're talking about Part 1 Kakashi, whom fought Zabuza and other strong warriors. Who would win? I say P1 Kakashi; Hebi Sasuke is pretty meaningless without Kirin.

Part I Kakashi is the one that got tired from using two Suitons and about five minutes of Sharingan against Zabuza. In the second round, he expressed exhaustion from using one Raikiri and a summoning technique. He lacks any Raiton techniques whatsoever barring Raikiri itself, and he lacks the ability to use Suitons without a source, meaning even Sasuke's Katons could be an actual threat here.

The gap between Part I and Part II Kakashi is massive, even without Kamui.

Part 1 Kakashi reacted to Itachi's fast handseals speed and Bushin trickery far better than Hebi Sasuke did. Sasuke has more chakra and is "more powerful" but part 1 Kakashi's base skills should be better, and ofc he is a lot smarter, that should enable him to trick and kill Sasuke before Kirin comes in to play.

They'll simply say because Kakashi is more intelligent, more experienced and is more versatile due to having three elements or some other excuse.

OT: Sasuke low difficulty. Power scaling went up drastically in Shippuden. Hebi Sasuke pushed Itachi to use more taxing abilities than did Kakashi. Kakashi struggled against the likes of Zabuza while Sasuke went up against the likes of Deidara. They have similar abilities hence why I'm not comparing their counters but Sasuke by feats is simply much better.
