So say those worked. All of those jutsu would have exhausted Kakashi's chakra in it's entirety. Remember, the clones in that picture aren't all shadow clones. Most are just simple clones. Kakashi just doesn't have the chakra reserves (in part 1, feats now are a different story) to make a counter strike against Itachi, even if he could avoid his attacks.

I didn't say Kakashi had to make that many shadow clones. I just needed a picture of Kakashi with at least one other shadow clone and that was the only one I could find. Besides, bunshins, substitutions, and hiding like a mole are some of the least chakra-taxing jutsu in existence, whereas Itachi can hold up his Susano'o for about 5 minutes before he dies of chakra exhaustion.

To my knowledge, shadow clones require a decent amount of chakra each. And if substitution juts worked like that, everyone would be using it. But put simply, it just doesn't carry into higher ranked fights. I'm honestly not sure why. You'd have to ask Kishi that one.

If Kakashi has the info on Itachi's abilities then he sure beats him regardless of which part. No trick works on Kakashi twice that's a manga-fact he even out smarted Madara, Obito, Itachi all the seasoned warriors.
