Not really, there was also drama revolving around Obito, Nagato, Madara, Itachi, Sasori, Gaara, Hashirama, Kabuto, Jiriaya, Minato, Kushina, etc. I suggest rereading or rewatching part 2, because you seem to be forgetting a lot.
