Part 1 Gaara vs Current Tsunade

Not even close. Part 1 Lee, even though he is a taijutsu specialist, is still a Genin. Tsunade is a well seasoned shinobi who stands as Hokage.

We are essentially comparing a standard Genin to a Hokage

Who cares if she is a Hokage? Lmao. Being a Hokage didn;t stop Part 1 Kabuto from reacting to her on more than one occasion.

I'm not saying Lee is stronger or anything, but he is faster, especially in gated form.

His speed was higher than Tsunade's in the DB official stats. These abilities are vastly magnified when he engages any of the Gates.

Honestly I never enjoyed DB stats since they were bound to have flaws (I use them as a comparison for other stats). EG. 30% Kisame and Guy's second clash. It was speed 4 to speed 5 but Kisame still manhandled him. Sasuke was supposed to be as fast as Lee by the 3rd CE yet Sasuke had a lower stat. You can say that it wasn't his true speed, but Tsunade has excellent chakra control and can boost her base "speed" with it too.

Tsunade wins against part 1 Gaara with mid difficulty. Part 1 Gaara was a high level jounin but Tsunade is a low kage level ninja. Her punches and kicks will decimate part 1 Gaara's defense. I am sure she is also fast enough now than she was before the time skip.

So you think Tsunade will be stupid enough to let Gaara suffocate her?? Gaara is only powerful in the desert because he can take advantage of the huge quantity of sand. Somewhere else, and Gaara is limited. Tsunade has shown a punsh that was even able to destroy Susanoo. Only with that punch Gaaras shield will do nothing against that

Gaara isn't really limited outside of the desert, only if he is somewhere with no solid ground/earth (Inside buildings with solid floors etc) otherwise he says it is easy to create more sand, enough sand to tear down acres of forest. but if he is inside some kind of structure then that's when he's limited to only the gourd which is a much greater volume than it appears

but Tsunade definitely dominates p1 gaara no questions and i love gaara
