Lee is much faster when using the 5th gate, V1 Naruto wouldn't be able to keep up with his speed if Kakashi had to rely on the Sharingan to follow his movements against Gaara.
Naruto can not stay that long in V1 and it does damage to his body as shown in VotE.
Bijuu cloak can protect against cutting or corrosive attacks (Kusanagi, Raikir and Amaterasu), not that much against physical attacks and taijutsu though, as shown when Orochimaru's punch stunned V2 Naruto.

No he's not. Lee needed 5G + Ura Renge to overcome CE Prelims Neji, meaning that Neji is capable of reacting to Lee's normal combat speed somewhat and capable of reacting to anything below the 5th Gate. KN1 Naruto is far above that Neji in terms of speed and reactions. Kakashi using Sharingan to track his moves doesn't invalidate this nor does it prove anything.

Lee can't use 5G long either and he can't even fight longer than Naruto can so that's a moot point, and the rest doesn't make sense. If the Bijuu cloak is capable of blocking cutting attacks it'd obviously block physical attacks much easier because cutting attacks are more lethal due to being focused on a smaller area. And Oro's punch never did a thing to KN4. Oro punched him, and during the punch KN4 retaliated.

Ura Renge w/ multiple hits wasn't capable of doing serious damage to Gaara because of the armor of sand. He's not going to kill Naruto with it or do serious damage, so after it's over Naruto kills him. Or Naruto simply intercepts Ura Renge and retaliates w/ either Rasengan or a chakra arm. Lee doesn't stand a single chance at victory.

How did you come to that conclusion? From what I remember nothing indicates Neji being able to beat Lee at any gates above 3.

Lee and Gai said Ura Renge was the key to beating Neji when Lee first opened the 4th and 5th Gate, meaning nothing short of that can take Neji out
