The statement that you were with a class would imply you were with a school, but that leaves two glaring flaws. Either you were a student, in which case you would not be left alone without a teacher to supervise you, or you were a Teacher and would likely not be so curious about the curtain.
I was about ten. That would have been in the 90s, I live in the UK, I was in a church, a 1000 year old church and I was left alone in the pews, it was a different time then. It wasn't the first time I was left alone in the church by my teacher.
hate to tell you that the doctors aren't omniscient. they can help, but just because they can't find the answer doesn't mean you don't have a problem.
Also, everything is relative and perspective, I wouldn't trust someone who is mental ill to have a stable/trustworthy view of their mental health.
I have anxiety disorders, there is nothing wrong with my sanity. Just because you don't believe in something, doesn't make other people nuts because they have experiences in something you don't or wont believe exists. Trust me I am in my right mind.
