Pain vs Naruto - Child of Prophecy

We are all waiting for the great fight of Pain vs Naruto. Both Naruto and Pain have been considered to be the Child of Prophecy. The prophecy says the child will either save or end the world, so maybe they are both the child of prophecy:

1 - if Pain wins, he's the child of prophecy and the world will be destroyed

2 - If Naruto wins, then he's the child of prophecy and the world win continue living

In fact, both are strooong, though they have different kinds of strength.

It will also be the fight of a "God" (Pain) with an evil character and a demon (Naruto because of the fox) who is nice and good.

That is to say, if God wins , the world is over! And if the demon wins, it goes on.

So what do you think about this theory? And who will win and why?

and also naruto is the main charactor, he might lose near the end but his side will win nomatter what so it counts as him winning

I see your point. But the fox will not want to destroy the world, I guess, because he LIVES in it, he would live free in case he was not inside Naruto. The fox may destroy whatever he wants, but is wise enough to know the world is the place he lives in.

It is Pain who does not care about dying as long as everyone dies with him, because if a God dies nobody else has the right to live.

Naruto will win because it is inevitable that he will have to fight Sasuke, and that fight will be sometime after Pain is dealt with.

This is assuming that Naruto even fights Pain. The chances are high, definetly, but not quite certain.

What if he first fights Sasuke and in the future they fight against Pain together?

Just a thought. Most thing the final battle will be a new Valley of the End, but Kishi could be tricking us.

LOL nice theory. i think that, though its very unlikely, Pain and Naruto are both the children of prophecy. Nagato is destined to destroyed the world as opposed to Naruto destined to save the world. the only thing is which one will happen? i have reason to beleive that naruto will beat pain- whether it ends with the rasengan in chapter 442 or continues 10 more chapters.

I was a bit amazed to see this thread revived, thanks. You see, this wasn posted in October, so much had not yet happened.

But no, the prophecy said that the child of prophecy would either destroy or change the world, not that there were 2 with one trying to destroy it and another one to save it.
