This is an odd match, Preta path solos Mei neg diff and Onoki can't do anything with deva there...

If Pain weren't five people then sure.

Everyone watches Naruto take them on with bundles of help from everyone else with massive intel on the enemy, get put on the brink of death, impaled to the ground, got close to the point of releasing the Nine-Tails, and suddenly everyone thinks it's a good idea to pit everyone against Pain.

The Pain formation was literally made to be unbeatable, stop pitting things against it. Only a handful like Madara or Juubito would be able to take it head on 0 intel, you're pitting these people in 5v1 situations and trying to make a thread out of it.

Putting them against Pain would be an insult to his eyes, he'll make them feel a pain like no other..

Oonoiki's problem is his large ninjutsu reliance is wrecked by Preta. Against virtually any other oath Jed be largely successful.

If they have no intel they get slaughtered.If the Pein that revives the fallen members hides inside the chameleon the Kages will have nothing to overcome Pein.They lack the doujutsu and sensing capabilities to locatable the chameleon, the chameleon can then eat the dead Path and the reviving path inside the mouth can revive them.

Cho Shinra Tensei and Chibaku Tensei is not needed.

Shinra tensei defends him, Preat can absorb their attacks and both kages are higly relying in ninjutsu attacks.
Also Chibaku tensei...

Give them knowledge; only difficulty of defeating would change.

Mei and Ohnoki win with very high difficulty.

Mei uses mist to block their visions while Ohnoki can take care of the resurrecting Pain with his Particle Style. Then huge particle style beam attack can finish off more than two of the Pains.
Mei's manipulation of the pH value and Lava style can also help.
Tsuchikage's golems can handle the Jutsu absorbing Pain.
