Gai and Kakashi vs. Pain is like Kisame and Itach vs. Pain.

Their team work is near flawless...

Gai's stamina will compensate for Kakashi's lack of stamina and Kakashi's Rikiri variant works Vice versa.

Those two together could take out pain
