Pain solos.

There are very few living shinobi that could defeat pain.
Naruto vs Pain was handicapping pains abilitys sooooooooooooo hard, he never attacked 6v1, and he wasn't intent on killing.

If he charged 6v1, with killing intent, it'd take a VERY powerful shinobi to beat him.
Animal path itself solos alot of higher ranked ninja.
Gakido absorbs 1 shots, and any other chakra attack he wants...
Tendo repels anything he likes, or brings it towards him..
Shurado is literally a machine, and can fire various objects or grow saws ect.
Ningendo wins with 1 touch, much like Obito... But more reliable in that he takes their soul.
Chikushodo summons a large amount of very powerful summons, one of which is veery hard to kill.
Jigokudo stays back and revives anything that happens to be damaged..

Keep in mind all of them share sight, and are all fairly adept in Taijutsu ( they are on par with BM naruto.. )

Tendo pain also has the ability to create perfect clones, shown when he made Itachi/Kisame clones with kekki genkai. He also has the ability to control the rain, meaning that Kirin is pretty much useless against pain...

The pains ( mainly the Tendo pain, again ) could also use chakra rods as melee weapons, and when once pierced you, you'd be immobilized by Nagatos chakra..
He can also summon the Gedo statue, and possibly use the phantom dragon technique through it..


Obviously people like Hashirama, Madara and Juubito could beat him, but other than the god teirs....

But solo means singular, meaning 1. Pein is using 6 bodies, whether its one person controlling them or not it's not a solo because its not just one person doing the fighting.

This logic suggests that obito & his jinchuuriki solo, they're all one person (at least until they transform into bijuu).

Sasori doesn't solo? Puppets.

Your logic is bad.
It's all coming from 1 chakra pool = Solo.

Nothing in your post showed me why Pain>Sasuke. Sasuke>Pain. Deva gets killed by Susanoo arrow+Amaterasu combo (Can't deflect the incoming Amaterasu due to deflecting the arrow. Can't evade the arrow as its too fast) the rest die to Enton Blade, Magatama and Preta dies to Taijutsu.

If sasori uses 1 puppet then we can say that that puppet solos (eg. kazekage solos), but if sasori uses multiple puppets then its not a solo anymore as its not a singular enemy fighting.

Solo means 1, 1 person who is doing the fighting. In peins case I would say that a path solos (eg. deva) rather than all 6 because then that turns into a gang up.

Preta sucks up susano'o, Enton, Amaterasu, everything.
Deva smacks sasuke into a wall every 5 seconds, while he's being assaulted by 5+ summons, chakra rods and rockets.

He has no chance.

Well more like Nagato Solo's, all the 6 pains were just emanations of him. Without Nagato there's wouldn't be any pains, they all shared the same consciousness and eyes because they were Nagato's vessels to work through.

We all know Nagato is a solo king.
But people continuously under-estimate the pains because Naruto beat him with the help of all the plot that kishi could muster up.
