I agree, he should be semifinal villain. Pain was WAY stronger than Naruto, yet he got defeated, which was disappointing. Sasuke fighting alongside Naruto would've made Pain's defeat more reasonable. Edo Tensei and Rinne Tensei shit should have never existed in the first place. And FV should be JJ Obito. And then it should end there.

there were so many loose ends that weren't anywhere near being tied up at that point, but i see so many ppl constantly saying the story should've ended with Pain's defeat. They need to just sit in a corner and stop pretending like they would know how to write a story better than Kishimoto, because it's clear they wouldn't.
