Pain is underrated due to the Naruto fight

Hey i'm new around here but have lurked and read the manga on here for quite a while.

Anyway when it comes to that fight, people seem to focus only on what happened after Naruto arrived. Forgetting the fact Pain had just stomped an entire village and then flattened it to the ground, then managed to go toe to toe with SM Naruto to the point he could have killed Naruto if he wished, take on the nine tailed fox and then have enough chakra left to revive the entire village before dying. I think it's quite obvious that reviving an entire village takes a large amount of chakra, Naruto when walking away collapsed and had to be carried back by Kakashi, therefore it makes sense that if Nagato had not listened and the fight had continued Nagato was more likely to win.


Naruto did not "defeat" Nagato, he basically committed suicide to revive the entire village.

Kind of weird since Naruto won the actual fight, but yeah.

Yeah. He had crippled legs. Revived the whole village back when he was out of chakra. Destroyed a whole country in 5 seconds. Fought Naruto, a jinchuuriki. Was never defeated by anyone. Nagato sacrificed himself in order to bring back the villagers. Killed Hanzo. Was heavy when he was brought back as edo on Killer bee, Naruto and Itachi. Was almost gonna kill naruto in his edo form if itachi didn't had saved him.

He didn't destroy a country, he destroyed a village.

I agree, but the case now is SM Naruto>Rinnegan due to knowledge.. Naruto is the only ninja who knows the Rinnegan the most(other than Nagato, but he's dead).

ofcourse we couldn't stand it that nagato had to use TALK NO JUTSU FIRST and couldve killed him. and thats why nagato himself is not verry smart and skilled, if had no rinnegan he would be a fodder. get it?

Pain is the boss. Emotions and Talk No Jutsu of Naruto has been shown in manga to effect many of highly skilled shinobis like Nagato, Itachi, Konan, Gaara, Onoki, Hanzo, Chiyo, Dan etc.
IMO, Talk No Jutsu is one of the main concepts of fights in naruto manga. It can make even a lower ranked ninja win against a skilled ninja
IMO However PAIN is not underrated.

Even with his SM, it would've been even match...!
Not to mention talk no jutsu by Naruto...
Naruto basically talked Nagato into death(committing suicide)..:shrug: xd

& u shld get it in ur thick skull dat were it 4 SM naruto to last for more than 20mins in a fight, naruto would be KING.
Kishi/plot made SM naruto last ONLY 5 MINS for reasons best known 2 him & that very is BAD.
rinnegan lastin forever for nagato is too OP

Pain lost. no plot no justu nonsense, he lost fair and sqaure. pain would of died earlier but was saved with unfortunate events and six tailed kyuubi overpowered deva realm to the point that he had to use his last resort. On top of that he was saved by minato because if that were to continue......we would of died a horrible death

PNJ is why he won. Pain fought with the intent to capture alive instead of kill like when he fought Jiraya. He missed vital points on purpose so he could capture him. Still PNJ>logic.
