Pain is inmune to genjutsu

As said in the manga, the alteration of the chakra flow cancels genjutsu, and Pain's chakra is in constant alteration as Nagato is constantly sending new chakra via chakra rods.

So, no genjutsu would work on 6pop, and that makes Pain a good Uchiha counter.

This makes no sense since Jiraiya caught three bodies in his sound Genjutsu. At this point it doesn't matter whether it is a sound or visual Genjutsu since they're based on the same principle.

To free someone from a Genjutsu, you have to interrupt his Chakra flow by sending your own Chakra (a second Chakra source) into his body in order to stop his Chakra flow. During your Chakra flow is interrupted, you can't anyway use Ninjutsu or Genjutsu during this process.

Ok so the point of this thread is to explain y i think shared vision doesnt = 6 paths under genjutsu

As most of us kno genjutsu works by inserting your chakra into your
opponents brain area of chakra network makein them feel/see what u want

Now lots of people think Tsukuyomi 1 pain all fall but the paths only share vision not chakra and its the chakra affecting your chakra network thats creates the genjutsu

My reasonin as to y paths dont share chakra is preta path
It sucked up narutos sage chakra yet it was the only 1 to turn to stone

This also brings to light the fact that chakra absorbed by preta path benefit only that path if that wasnt the case nagato would have had more chakra from what preta path got from village

On a side note
plz people nagato isnt weak to genjutsu ..the toads said j man
was never good at genjutsu so pain wouldnt see it comeing
And when he was caught he praised j man sayin i never thought u
would have such a poweful genjutsu so ya genjutsu is every1s weakness

Visual genjutsu is not working on Pain. Tsukuyomi, for one, would be ineffective against dead bodies; this being just one of the reasons why it would fail. Pain was always capable of escaping Jiraiya's genjutsu because of his ability to disrupt the chakra flowing through his rods. That's why you have to ask yourself why Nagato was never left drooling despite some of his paths being affected. Although initially, the the genjutsu was unavoidable because Pain could not escape the sound. The title is misleading though Pain is capable of escaping practically every genjutsu we have seen.
