Today my family and I drove into LA to visit the Page Museum at the La Brea Tar Pits. I brought my camera so I could share my trip with my friends (you guys).
This fist picture was taken from the back seat of the silverado and I was trying to get the Wiltern theater.
This Picture was again taken from my seat in the car...its just a sculpture that I liked.
WEEEE the back seat again! WOOT! this is the first thing you see pulling up to the museum.

This is a saber tooth cat in a glass case, a holograph surrounds the skeleton to reconstruct the animal. Sorry about the glare obviously some little kids put their sticky fingers all over the glass.
This is a medium sized Harlem ground sloth.
This is an Antique Bison, of coarse we have bison now and they haven't changed really at all.
An adult and juvenile mastodon.
Extinct North American Camel, Camels originated in North America about 45 million years ago. At about 2-3 million years ago, they migrated to Eurasia and Africa, moving in the opposite direction from the many other animals that migrated to North America. Neat huh!
This a pygmy....antelope...honestly I forgot what this was, lets call him prey.
A California Saber Tooth behind glass.
This is an average sized Mammoth, I remember when I first saw him when I was little, he still amazes me......and to think they got bigger.

This is an extinct species of condor I believe.
A pack of Dire Wolf skeletons running in the desert.
A section of the wall which hundreds of Dire Wolf skulls are housed.
This is a lion, that in life looked like the lions in Africa.

Oh whos right now Mr.Miller!! The is the horse my FFA teacher told me didn't exist, I fought with him about it but lost...I KNEW I WAS RIGHT!!
A coyote skeleton, the same as we have now.
I'm so happy to be home, sure it was fun but on the way home we ended up in the blind spot of a semi while turning onto the freeway and almost got killed.
