Both of these traits are anti-warrior, sure, a warrior protects, but who does he protect? His own, A Warrior protects his own while he destroys another, a Warrior is a conqueror and always seeks the thrill of a fight, Alexander The Great is renown for his love of war, a Warrior doesn't know when not to fight, he lives for battle, that's his bread and butter so to speak.

Depends on the warrior and his/her cause. Not every warrior lives to fight or fights for the love of battle. Some fight because they must (too protect, to survive, for love, for an ideal) these types of warriors may hate to fight but do so out of necessity.

But you are not wrong. There are also warriors who live for the love of combat as well. Again it just depends on the Warrior's own cause and ideals.

I disagree, a Warrior lives for the thrill of war even if it's for peace, America is a perfect example, it promotes an image of love, freedom and democracy yet look at how many wars it has been apart of, in fact, 93% of Wars that happened. had America involved in it, either directly or supporting, you can say it's for peace, for democracy, for freedom, the war in Iraq right now is for "peace", dropping the Atomic Bomb on Nagasaki was for peace, Vietnam war, the overthrowing of Sadaam and Gaddafi was for the sake of "Peace".

Warriors come in all shapes and sizes.

You may think it's easy, but what makes the best warrior is the determination to be better and better as well as being humble and the will of not giving up. If you can be those 3 you'll excel and be at the top, the prime of anyone else.
