Ozymandias is described to be a man who has eyes like the sun, wrapped in the presence of a king. He is vain in his appearance, as he wears modern, stylish attire, not to mention a gold necklace and bangles on his wrist. Generally, he wears a light bodysuit that allows for maximum flexibility. Over it, he wears numerous golden pieces of armor which are protective and lavish in equal measure. The cloths and cloaks that he wears are made of the finest material, his entire appearance is a symbol of his grandiose nature, and a measure of the prosperity he brought to the distant land of Egypt. On his back, a metal crook is secured. His physique is fitting of an individual who is regarded as the supreme, a shining example of one who has reached the height of human condition. Amongst his more casual outfits, Ozymandias tends to favor high-collared jackets and trousers, typically black or white. He still maintains his flamboyant accessory choices, wearing golden necklaces and bangles. | A pharaoh filled to the brim with unswaying confidence. The Sun King. Chapter I
Ozymandias was born to the pharaoh Seti I and Queen Tuya in a distant continent, known as Egypt, which is far removed from other parts of the ninja world, the Tobusekai. From the moment of his birth, he was preordained with the title and duty of a pharaoh. All of his infant years were spent within the walls of Seti’s palace, not to leave until he was grown. Though he grew older, the time he actually spent with his parents was less than that of their subjects, being forced to pass the days away with his retainers, waiting to be with his parents whenever the time came. His father was a natural-born ruler, having brought Egypt to the height of its prosperity thus far during the course of its two-thousand-year existence. It was also during this time that Seti was forced to the battlefield for some time, meaning that Ozymandias was left with his mother as his only parent for a time. The enemies Seti was facing were known as the Hittites, an army from the nation of Hattusa, who were contesting land in a competition of expansion between them and the Egyptians. On the morning of Seti’s departure for the battlefront, Ozymandias stood at the grand doorway leading out to the courtyard of the temple, watching as his father rode with his army towards the distance. The sky was a violet colour, the orange of the sun shimmering behind the clouds. As he watched the dust behind the last horses settle, Tuya came to Ozymandias, kneeling next to him, assuring the young prince that soon his father would return. Ozymandias simply nodded in silence, keeping his eyes glued to the stars in the sky. Someday, he would stand there with the gods, with the world under his rule.
The day after Seti had left, Ozymandias had taken a stroll down to the Karnak temple complex. The site itself was hundreds of years old, being comprised of temples, chapels, pylons and other grand structures. All were dedicated to worship of the gods, and the pharaoh. It was in recent times, before Seti had departed before war, that he had begun restoring and adding new structures to the already extravagant complex. Though the pharaoh’s task, above all, was that of governance, it was almost as, if not of equal importance, that the pharaoh maintain the strength of religious presence and worship in Egypt. Religion in the nation was a core component of society, and thus it was a necessity that pharaohs would pay respect to the gods and make offerings to them. The temple complex of Karnak was an example of this. Ozymandias would regularly stroll through the numerous structures of the area, taking all of it into himself. Soon, he was to be the one leading all of this. At the center of it all. He needed not only to be knowledgeable of everything, but also to be perfectly confident he was capable of stepping into the shoes of his father. Seeing the pharaohs before him, immortalised in their stone carvings and inscriptions, gave him confidence that in coming from that lineage, he would only be better. Leaving the temple complex, Ozymandias bumped into a young girl. She had long, brown hair, skin as gentle as the finest silk, and eyes that could outshine the sun itself. Apologising for the accident, Ozymandias immediately forgave it, asking her name. “Nefertari”. As the girl ran off, Ozymandias watched her, memorising her face and voice so he would not forget if they met another time.
Ozymandias’ training as a warrior began whilst he was young, and still learning the ways of the world. Though, it cannot be said he truly learnt of and understood things as a child could have, or should have, as his only companions during childhood were two; Moses and Nefertari. When he was not training, sparring, or studying, he was with these two people. Moses, his step-brother, had a very close friendship with Ozymandias, and was one of the only people in his life that he saw as more than through the lens of a king and his subject. The other, Nefertari, was a girl whose marriage with Ozymandias was preordained by the latter’s parents. Their relationship blossomed when they were young and the two became almost inseparable. Nefertari was as close to Ozymandias as even Moses himself. It was during his time with them that he was able to let go of his royal obligations and makeup, and act as a child should. From the age of 10, the 3 of them had grown together as a wonderful trio, who shared in each other’s sorrow and happiness alike.
Chapter II
By age 17, Ozymandias had completed his training to become a pharaoh. On his birthday, he was asked by Seti I, his father, to accompany him on a military expedition to retake a town that was occupied by the Hittites. Though the young prince had agreed to it, he first went to say goodbye to Moses and Nefertari. He bid them farewell, and set off to join his father to ride for the town of Hittite occupation. Upon arrival at the designated site to set up base camp, Seti had asked Ozymandias to assist him in coordinating offensive strategies. The latter made the suggestion that they fight alongside the infantry. Given that the Hittites were a long-standing, and fierce enemy, the Egyptians needed to show that they were fearless. That they had the utmost confidence in their ability to secure victory. Concurring with his son, Seti organised for a small team of soldiers to look out for openings in the perimeter watch of the Hittites. Due to the size of the village being no larger than a small town, it was easily defensible. In the morning, Seti and Ozymandias would lead their troops into battle with the enemy.
By the time the sun hinged on the horizon, Seti and Ozymandias had already begun their assault on the occupied town, with their battalion following suit. Though the fight between the soldiers of the two factions was relatively equal in terms of prowess, it was the presence of the pharaoh and his son that made the greatest difference. Striking down the enemy in a whirlwind of lightning and fire, Ozymandias was employing the full potential of his powers. Seti, though also considerably strong, was older. He wasn’t as physically able as the others on the battlefield, sustaining injuries from sword slashes and polearm strikes. Though meager, it was only a testament to his hampered ability. Evading death by mere whiskers on multiple occasions, Seti had downed close to 70 enemies alone despite his age. Meanwhile, Ozymandias had reached his 200th, and took the 201st as his final one, ending the battle for the village. Walking through the streets, Ozymandias beckoned the townspeople to come out, as the fighting was over. Later in the evening, he gazed over the village from high above on a cliff nearby. Accompanied by Seti, his father, Ozymandias discussed the day’s affairs, how well the entire event played out, and eventually Seti’s condition was addressed. The pharaoh told Ozymandias of his withering condition, of how he as a father was proud to have witnessed his son finally grow into the man he was destined to be. The two shared stories from Ozymandias’ childhood, reminiscing on his growth. In the late hours of the evening, the two went back down to the town, establishing a small team of soldiers who would occupy the town until more would be sent to fully colonise it.
The day after, the two returned to the city in Egypt with their army. Ozymandias roamed the streets of the city for a time while Seti had returned to his quarters to rest. The young prince walked the bustling streets for hours, the sweat accumulating on his body from the heat of the sun constantly beating down on him. Though, it continually diminished as the hours went by, with the day heading into the afternoon, and then the evening. As he made for the pyramid, where he lived with his royal family, he came across the corpse of a cobra at the base of the steps to the pyramid’s entrance. Pausing for a moment, he picked it up, feeling the slick scales at his fingers, he carried it inside with him. Giving it to the nearest servant who would take it, he quickly paced for his father’s quarters. Stepping into the doorway, he saw Seti, his father, lying in bed. His chest would not move. The prince walked over to his father, and knelt beside him. Placing a hand on his father’s inert chest, Ozymandias spent what felt to be an eternity, saying his personal goodbye as a son. The next time he would say it would be the last, as a pharaoh.
It would be three weeks since Ozymandias had carried the body of his father, Seti I, from his bedroom, to his mortuary temple in Gurna. The temple itself was incomplete, still in the later stages of construction whilst Seti was at war with the Hittites. Despite this, construction had progressed considerably since the beginning. Such a large project was understandably incomplete before his death, given that the temple was not only a mortuary one for simply he, the pharaoh, but also a commemorative building for his father, Ramesses I, the grandfather of Ozymandias. Ozymandias would ascend the throne on the afternoon of his father’s burial, to be inaugurated as Ramesses II. Though Ozymandias felt sadness at his father’s passing, he felt pride above all else. His father, Seti, who had accomplished so much as the pharaoh, elevating Egypt to new heights that were never seen before, Ozymandias bid his father farewell, knowing that his place in the afterlife amongst the gods was the only thing he could now attain that was a suitable reward for his services of the nation. Watching as his father’s coffin was placed within the burial chambers of the temple, he spent the hours between then and his inauguration ceremony remembering the time he shared with his father and family. Whilst Ozymandias reminisced and mourned for his late father, Nefertari and Moses had come to visit him. The three conversed for some time, and eventually, left to return to the main city for Ozymandias’ ceremony. As they left the temple, Moses told Ozymandias to stay behind with Nefertari for a moment. Complying, he waited for the girl he’d known since childhood.
The crowd of people, numbering in the tens of thousands, watched as Ozymandias ascended the steps of the stage upon which he was to be declared the new pharaoh of Egypt. As Ozymandias watched the crowd from above, he pondered upon what the future would hold for him. He remembered what Nefertari had said to him earlier, and a small smile curled on his lips. Knowing that he would walk into the future, and in time the sun, with her at his side, was enough to brighten any day no matter how sour or dire. On the stage were two ornate, golden thrones. Both were identical, possessing furnishing and accessories of high value in equal measure. Sitting on one, he beckoned Nefertari to sit on the throne adjacent. Accepting their thrones ended the process of inauguration. In the wake of the death of Seti I, from the ashes came Queen Nefertari and the new pharaoh of Egypt, Ramesses II. It was from this throne that Ozymandias would govern his country, pushing it to a future brighter than any pharaoh before and even after him. He would wisely govern the masses as a fair and just king, conquer new lands and unite them under the banner of the pharaoh, and destroy all who would stand in his way. On May 31st of Year 801, Ozymandias was crowned the 3rd pharaoh of the 19th Dynasty, in the New Kingdom of Egypt.
Chapter III
The first task Ozymandias would commit to as a pharaoh was to continue and complete the building projects undertaken by his late father, Seti I, and initiate his own. Such a thing was customary and tradition for a pharaoh, as many before him had done the same. It took 2 years for the mortuary temple of Seti’s temple to be completed, the process of which disturbed none of the buried remains within the structure. He also went to the Karnak temple complex, restoring the old monuments which had decayed and fallen to ruin in recent years, and even building more structures to increase the ranks of those that populated the complex. These were only some of the building projects Ozymandias had started in the early times of his reign, even building more pyramids and sphinxes, littering them throughout the deserts of Egypt. He would ensure that those near, far and wide, and beyond, would know of his might. But before moving outside the borders of Egypt, he first had to take care of matters in his home. Spending great amounts of time dealing with administration, he got little chance to breathe, but it was of little inconvenience to him. This was his duty, what he was born to do, to become. He was in no place to reject such responsibility, and even if he was, he could not do so without shaming himself and his predecessors before him. Returning to Nefertari day after day was one of his great joys, his beloved being equal to, and greater than that of the gods in his eyes. It was some months after ascending the throne that the two would have their first child, a son named ‘Amun-her-khepeshef’. Placed under the care of Moses, now an Egyptian prince, whilst the latter and Nefertari were busy with administration, the boy would experience a privileged childhood. Though, as with his father before him, he would begin training to become a pharaoh quite soon.
After having his 5th son with Nefertari, Ozymandias decided that it was time to begin consolidating and expanding upon the borders of Egypt. The nation was as strong as it had ever been, even more so than when his father was a pharaoh. In the span of 3 years, Ozymandias had initiated and completed numerous building projects, elevated the economy and standard of living even higher in Egypt, and fathered numerous children, amongst several wives. But still, it was Nefertari who stood head and shoulders above them all. As he had begun training the next group of academy students for military duty, a civil unrest had begun to brew within Egypt. Recently, a small band of people had formed a religious cult which had quickly gained traction amongst the population, growing rapidly to millions of people. As one who preached devout faith in the gods of Egypt, Ozymandias would not tolerate such a thing. Over the span of months, nearing a year, the pharaoh would systematically track the whereabouts of members of this cult, sending the guard to detain them and imprison them. Over 2 million were imprisoned in numerous facilities near the pharaoh’s pyramid. Throughout the course of this endeavour, Moses pleaded with Ozymandias to release the population of the cult from their prison, saying that it was unjust of the pharaoh to do such a thing to those with merely a difference in belief. Though Moses was his best friend, and brother, Ozymandias would not budge. To do so was to speak weakness on his part, and was indirect defiance of the gods. Whilst the systematic imprisonment of the cult was ongoing, Ozymandias had been looking into expansion of the Egyptian borders. This, of course, meant that yet another conflict with the Hittites was probably inevitable. He had been preparing soldiers for war for years, ensuring that any military ventures would be nothing less than successful. Though the pressure from Moses was a hindrance to Ozymandias, he understood his brother’s viewpoint, despite having denied the request to free the members of the religious cult. As Ozymandias had prepared his army to set out to meet the Hittites, Moses watched him as he set off with his army following closely behind him. As the greatest pharaoh headed for the battlefield, the prince saw him off with eyes of sadness.
With the trip of a few days completed, Ozymandias and his forces arrived at a desert plain approximately 11km south of Kadesh. With the division of Amun at his back, and the divisions of Ra, Ptah and Set covering his flanks on other sides of the land separated by rivers and pathways, he was met by 2 nomads who were travelling in the opposite direction. Informing Ozymandias that the Hittite King was “in the land of Aleppo, on the north of Tunip”, where he was “too afraid of the pharaoh to come south”. Ozymandias ordered that they hold their current position, sending one of his scouts to search for nearby spies or enemies. Hours later, 2 prisoners were handed over to Ozymandias, both of them being captured from the ranks of the Hittite army. Inquiring of their identity, they replied that they had been sent to spy on him. They also revealed, after being asked by Ozymandias, that King Muwatalli II and his Hittite army were in fact close by, along with the countries which support them. Armed with their infantry and chariots, their weapons of war at the ready, more numerous than grains of sand on the beach, they stood ready for battle behind the old city of Kadesh. Upon learning of this information, Ozymandias called for his princes to meet him, and discuss the potential reasons as to why his officials had failed to inform him of the Hittite King’s location and positioning. Ozymandias was alone with his personal guard and the Amun division, thus the vizier had ordered the Ptah and Set divisions to hasten their arrival to camp, whilst the Ra division was already close. During this meeting, the Hittite chariots launched an assault on the Egyptian army, heading straight for the Ra division as they were nearing Ozymandias and the Amun division. The Ra division was caught completely off-guard, scattering in all directions, some fleeing northward to the Amun camp whilst being pursued by Hittite chariots.
The chariotry rounded north and attacked the camp, breaching the Amun shield wall and creating panic amongst the division ranks. Though some of the Hittites were picked off during the attack, the formation of the Amun division was totally broken, with even the pharaoh’s personal guard reduced to nothing before the Hittite ambush. Now, Ozymandias was by himself; no officer was with him, no charioteer, no soldier of the army, no shield-bearer. He was before them like Set in this moment.
Invoking the names of the Egyptian gods, Ozymandias began his attack. In a whirlwind of lightning and fire, he began to dispatch the ranks of the Hittites slowly. Beginning by dismantling those on the chariots, he took to eliminating the foot-soldiers and basic infantry subsequently. In fighting strength, it was laughable to compare a basic soldier to him. But Ozymandias was not simply fighting one. He was fighting hundreds. The pharaoh even resorted to using his brute physical might against the soldiers, breaking their bodies as if they were no more than twigs. As their ranks continued to dwindle, their morale followed suit. The soldiers had almost given up by the time Ozymandias had reduced their numbers to less than 50. Having struck down the final Hittite, thus ending the ambush, Ozymandias took a moment to catch himself. Smiling gleefully, and thanking the gods, he rushed off to assist the other divisions in fending off the Hittite offensive. The battle went for hours, but Ozymandias had successfully driven back the Hittites. Though the reversal was significant, enough to consider the battle a victory, the Egyptians were unable to capture Kadesh. Returning to Egypt, though proud with the result, Ozymandias was welcomed with open arms by Nefertari and his sons and daughters. Moses, however, was nowhere to be seen.
Chapter IV
Ozymandias met Moses the next day in the morning. Though their reunion began in good spirits, it turned sour once Moses asked the pharaoh again to release the members of the religious cult. Though Ozymandias wanted to accommodate for his friend, he was duty-bound to uphold his sentence. Accepting his friend’s judgement, Moses left the Ramesseum, but not before warning the pharaoh of the 10 Plagues of Egypt. Brushing off the apparent threat, Ozymandias went to his quarters with Nefertari. The next morning was seemingly normal, without anything being visibly wrong. That was, until Ozymandias walked through the main entrance of the Ramesseum, and looked over the land he ruled. All the waters in sight were dyed a deep red. As if the water had turned to blood. Similar phenomena continued to occur over the next few days; frogs plagued the river Nile, lice spread rapidly throughout the land, and finally, the population were attacked by numbers of vile insects and other animals. Seeking out Moses, Ozymandias told him to release the plague, and he would release the members of the religious sect. Though the effects of the plague ceased, Ozymandias did not keep his promise. And thus, Egypt would be subject to the rest of the plagues. The livestock became diseased in the next day, majority of the population developed boils, a storm of hail rocked the land, locusts assaulted the homes and lives of the Egyptians, and even light failed to reach the land for 3 days. Even through all of this, Ozymandias remained resolute in his position not to free the members of the sect. However, on the final day, Ozymandias broke. The final plague dictated that all the men and women in Egypt would lose their firstborn child to disease. On this day, the firstborn of the pharaoh, ‘Amun-her-khepeshef’, had died. Confronting the prince, Ozymandias told Moses that he would free the sect members, and allow them to leave Egypt without pursuit. Apologising to his best friend, Moses gathered the prisoners within the Ramesseum, meeting with all the others at the outskirts of the capital, Pi-Ramesses. Returning to the throne room, the pharaoh was confronted by his adviser. Though the pharaoh bore no ill will against Moses, his anger over his son’s death was strong. Enough for him to mobilise soldiers to track down the sect members and kill them all.
Mobilising a small squadron, Ozymandias led the pursuit, tracking the entire group, including Moses himself, to the coastline of the continent. Declaring the group dead where they stood, Ozymandias commanded his army to charge, and to spare none but Moses. The army of Egypt surged towards the large group of people, none of whom were warriors or familiar with combat in any way. Then, what could only be described as a miracle, had occurred. The silver-haired man raised his arms to the sea, lifting the very ocean itself, and splitting it in half. It was unlike anything ever seen before. A beam of light more brilliant than his own, shining brighter than the sun itself. Moses led the sect through the crevasse he had cut through the waters, leaving enough room for them all to walk. As the Egyptian army pursued them into the area, Moses collapsed the water on them. Witnessing the display from afar, Ozymandias knew he would not reach Moses or the sect. It was a fool’s errand, even for him. The pharaoh would say a silent goodbye to his oldest friend, and return to Egypt with naught but empty hands.

In the time that had passed since that day, Ozymandias had led many more military campaigns to expand Egypt’s borders. Though many were successful, the Hittites were never going to budge without putting up a fight. Thus, Ozymandias resolved to evoke a peace treaty between the two. With its success, the two nations co-existed peacefully. With Egypt at the height of its wealth and power, the pharaoh knew he could do no more for it if he stayed within the walls of the Ramesseum. From here, he would embark on a journey across the seas and throughout the world, so that he may establish colonies and eventually, come to rule over other lands as well. Such was the duty of the pharaoh, after all. Though he did so with a heavy heart, he said goodbye to Nefertari, promising that he would come back to see her again. On the night he set sail, in the Year 811, Ozymandias was confronted by a celestial figure. Though he could not physically identify it, there was no need to. The figure itself gave him its name; Galahad. It beckoned the pharaoh to travel to a distant land far from Egypt, telling him to seek out Avalon and the Order of Knights Radiant. This plea came with a warning too; “to stay far from the mountain regions where the darkness dwells”. Though the experience caught Ozymandias completely by surprise, he resolved to travel to these mountains, and find what may be hidden there. There was no treasure, no artifacts, or books...only a woman veiled in black.

The latter made the suggestion that they fight alongside the infantry. Given that the Hittites were a long-standing, and fierce enemy, the Egyptians needed to show that they were fearless. That they had the utmost confidence in their ability to secure victory. Concurring with his son, Seti organised for a small team of soldiers to look out for openings in the perimeter watch of the Hittites. Due to the size of the village being no larger than a small town, it was easily defensible. In the morning, Seti and Ozymandias would lead their troops into battle with the enemy.
By the time the sun hinged on the horizon, Seti and Ozymandias had already begun their assault on the occupied town, with their battalion following suit. Though the fight between the soldiers of the two factions was relatively equal in terms of prowess, it was the presence of the pharaoh and his son that made the greatest difference. Striking down the enemy in a whirlwind of lightning and fire, Ozymandias was employing the full potential of his powers. Seti, though also considerably strong, was older. He wasn’t as physically able as the others on the battlefield, sustaining injuries from sword slashes and polearm strikes. Though meager, it was only a testament to his hampered ability. Evading death by mere whiskers on multiple occasions, Seti had downed close to 70 enemies alone despite his age. Meanwhile, Ozymandias had reached his 200th, and took the 201st as his final one, ending the battle for the village. Walking through the streets, Ozymandias beckoned the townspeople to come out, as the fighting was over. Later in the evening, he gazed over the village from high above on a cliff nearby. Accompanied by Seti, his father, Ozymandias discussed the day’s affairs, how well the entire event played out, and eventually Seti’s condition was addressed. The pharaoh told Ozymandias of his withering condition, of how he as a father was proud to have witnessed his son finally grow into the man he was destined to be. The two shared stories from Ozymandias’ childhood, reminiscing on his growth. In the late hours of the evening, the two went back down to the town, establishing a small team of soldiers who would occupy the town until more would be sent to fully colonise it.
The day after, the two returned to the city in Egypt with their army. Ozymandias roamed the streets of the city for a time while Seti had returned to his quarters to rest. The young prince walked the bustling streets for hours, the sweat accumulating on his body from the heat of the sun constantly beating down on him. Though, it continually diminished as the hours went by, with the day heading into the afternoon, and then the evening. As he made for the pyramid, where he lived with his royal family, he came across the corpse of a cobra at the base of the steps to the pyramid’s entrance. Pausing for a moment, he picked it up, feeling the slick scales at his fingers, he carried it inside with him. Giving it to the nearest servant who would take it, he quickly paced for his father’s quarters. Stepping into the doorway, he saw Seti, his father, lying in bed. His chest would not move. The prince walked over to his father, and knelt beside him. Placing a hand on his father’s inert chest, Ozymandias spent what felt to be an eternity, saying his personal goodbye as a son. The next time he would say it would be the last, as a pharaoh.
It would be three weeks since Ozymandias had carried the body of his father, Seti I, from his bedroom, to his mortuary temple in Gurna. The temple itself was incomplete, still in the later stages of construction whilst Seti was at war with the Hittites. Despite this, construction had progressed considerably since the beginning. Such a large project was understandably incomplete before his death, given that the temple was not only a mortuary one for simply he, the pharaoh, but also a commemorative building for his father, Ramesses I, the grandfather of Ozymandias. Ozymandias would ascend the throne on the afternoon of his father’s burial, to be inaugurated as Ramesses II. Though Ozymandias felt sadness at his father’s passing, he felt pride above all else. His father, Seti, who had accomplished so much as the pharaoh, elevating Egypt to new heights that were never seen before, Ozymandias bid his father farewell, knowing that his place in the afterlife amongst the gods was the only thing he could now attain that was a suitable reward for his services of the nation. Watching as his father’s coffin was placed within the burial chambers of the temple, he spent the hours between then and his inauguration ceremony remembering the time he shared with his father and family. Whilst Ozymandias reminisced and mourned for his late father, Nefertari and Moses had come to visit him. The three conversed for some time, and eventually, left to return to the main city for Ozymandias’ ceremony. As they left the temple, Moses told Ozymandias to stay behind with Nefertari for a moment. Complying, he waited for the girl he’d known since childhood.
The crowd of people, numbering in the tens of thousands, watched as Ozymandias ascended the steps of the stage upon which he was to be declared the new pharaoh of Egypt. As Ozymandias watched the crowd from above, he pondered upon what the future would hold for him. He remembered what Nefertari had said to him earlier, and a small smile curled on his lips. Knowing that he would walk into the future, and in time the sun, with her at his side, was enough to brighten any day no matter how sour or dire. On the stage were two ornate, golden thrones. Both were identical, possessing furnishing and accessories of high value in equal measure. Sitting on one, he beckoned Nefertari to sit on the throne adjacent. Accepting their thrones ended the process of inauguration. In the wake of the death of Seti I, from the ashes came Queen Nefertari and the new pharaoh of Egypt, Ramesses II. It was from this throne that Ozymandias would govern his country, pushing it to a future brighter than any pharaoh before and even after him. He would wisely govern the masses as a fair and just king, conquer new lands and unite them under the banner of the pharaoh, and destroy all who would stand in his way. On May 31st of Year 801, Ozymandias was crowned the 3rd pharaoh of the 19th Dynasty, in the New Kingdom of Egypt.

Chapter III
The first task Ozymandias would commit to as a pharaoh was to continue and complete the building projects undertaken by his late father, Seti I, and initiate his own. Such a thing was customary and tradition for a pharaoh, as many before him had done the same. It took 2 years for the mortuary temple of Seti’s temple to be completed, the process of which disturbed none of the buried remains within the structure. He also went to the Karnak temple complex, restoring the old monuments which had decayed and fallen to ruin in recent years, and even building more structures to increase the ranks of those that populated the complex. These were only some of the building projects Ozymandias had started in the early times of his reign, even building more pyramids and sphinxes, littering them throughout the deserts of Egypt. He would ensure that those near, far and wide, and beyond, would know of his might. But before moving outside the borders of Egypt, he first had to take care of matters in his home. Spending great amounts of time dealing with administration, he got little chance to breathe, but it was of little inconvenience to him. This was his duty, what he was born to do, to become. He was in no place to reject such responsibility, and even if he was, he could not do so without shaming himself and his predecessors before him. Returning to Nefertari day after day was one of his great joys, his beloved being equal to, and greater than that of the gods in his eyes. It was some months after ascending the throne that the two would have their first child, a son named ‘Amun-her-khepeshef’. Placed under the care of Moses, now an Egyptian prince, whilst the latter and Nefertari were busy with administration, the boy would experience a privileged childhood. Though, as with his father before him, he would begin training to become a pharaoh quite soon.
After having his 5th son with Nefertari, Ozymandias decided that it was time to begin consolidating and expanding upon the borders of Egypt. The nation was as strong as it had ever been, even more so than when his father was a pharaoh. In the span of 3 years, Ozymandias had initiated and completed numerous building projects, elevated the economy and standard of living even higher in Egypt, and fathered numerous children, amongst several wives. But still, it was Nefertari who stood head and shoulders above them all. As he had begun training the next group of academy students for military duty, a civil unrest had begun to brew within Egypt. Recently, a small band of people had formed a religious cult which had quickly gained traction amongst the population, growing rapidly to millions of people. As one who preached devout faith in the gods of Egypt, Ozymandias would not tolerate such a thing. Over the span of months, nearing a year, the pharaoh would systematically track the whereabouts of members of this cult, sending the guard to detain them and imprison them. Over 2 million were imprisoned in numerous facilities near the pharaoh’s pyramid. Throughout the course of this endeavour, Moses pleaded with Ozymandias to release the population of the cult from their prison, saying that it was unjust of the pharaoh to do such a thing to those with merely a difference in belief. Though Moses was his best friend, and brother, Ozymandias would not budge. To do so was to speak weakness on his part, and was indirect defiance of the gods. Whilst the systematic imprisonment of the cult was ongoing, Ozymandias had been looking into expansion of the Egyptian borders. This, of course, meant that yet another conflict with the Hittites was probably inevitable. He had been preparing soldiers for war for years, ensuring that any military ventures would be nothing less than successful. Though the pressure from Moses was a hindrance to Ozymandias, he understood his brother’s viewpoint, despite having denied the request to free the members of the religious cult. As Ozymandias had prepared his army to set out to meet the Hittites, Moses watched him as he set off with his army following closely behind him. As the greatest pharaoh headed for the battlefield, the prince saw him off with eyes of sadness.
With the trip of a few days completed, Ozymandias and his forces arrived at a desert plain approximately 11km south of Kadesh. With the division of Amun at his back, and the divisions of Ra, Ptah and Set covering his flanks on other sides of the land separated by rivers and pathways, he was met by 2 nomads who were travelling in the opposite direction. Informing Ozymandias that the Hittite King was “in the land of Aleppo, on the north of Tunip”, where he was “too afraid of the pharaoh to come south”. Ozymandias ordered that they hold their current position, sending one of his scouts to search for nearby spies or enemies. Hours later, 2 prisoners were handed over to Ozymandias, both of them being captured from the ranks of the Hittite army. Inquiring of their identity, they replied that they had been sent to spy on him. They also revealed, after being asked by Ozymandias, that King Muwatalli II and his Hittite army were in fact close by, along with the countries which support them. Armed with their infantry and chariots, their weapons of war at the ready, more numerous than grains of sand on the beach, they stood ready for battle behind the old city of Kadesh. Upon learning of this information, Ozymandias called for his princes to meet him, and discuss the potential reasons as to why his officials had failed to inform him of the Hittite King’s location and positioning. Ozymandias was alone with his personal guard and the Amun division, thus the vizier had ordered the Ptah and Set divisions to hasten their arrival to camp, whilst the Ra division was already close. During this meeting, the Hittite chariots launched an assault on the Egyptian army, heading straight for the Ra division as they were nearing Ozymandias and the Amun division. The Ra division was caught completely off-guard, scattering in all directions, some fleeing northward to the Amun camp whilst being pursued by Hittite chariots.
The chariotry rounded north and attacked the camp, breaching the Amun shield wall and creating panic amongst the division ranks. Though some of the Hittites were picked off during the attack, the formation of the Amun division was totally broken, with even the pharaoh’s personal guard reduced to nothing before the Hittite ambush. Now, Ozymandias was by himself; no officer was with him, no charioteer, no soldier of the army, no shield-bearer. He was before them like Set in this moment.
“I suppose I shall show you the prowess of a divine pharaoh...I shall permit your death by despair!”
Invoking the names of the Egyptian gods, Ozymandias began his attack. In a whirlwind of lightning and fire, he began to dispatch the ranks of the Hittites slowly. Beginning by dismantling those on the chariots, he took to eliminating the foot-soldiers and basic infantry subsequently. In fighting strength, it was laughable to compare a basic soldier to him. But Ozymandias was not simply fighting one. He was fighting hundreds. The pharaoh even resorted to using his brute physical might against the soldiers, breaking their bodies as if they were no more than twigs. As their ranks continued to dwindle, their morale followed suit. The soldiers had almost given up by the time Ozymandias had reduced their numbers to less than 50. Having struck down the final Hittite, thus ending the ambush, Ozymandias took a moment to catch himself. Smiling gleefully, and thanking the gods, he rushed off to assist the other divisions in fending off the Hittite offensive. The battle went for hours, but Ozymandias had successfully driven back the Hittites. Though the reversal was significant, enough to consider the battle a victory, the Egyptians were unable to capture Kadesh. Returning to Egypt, though proud with the result, Ozymandias was welcomed with open arms by Nefertari and his sons and daughters. Moses, however, was nowhere to be seen.

Chapter IV
Ozymandias met Moses the next day in the morning. Though their reunion began in good spirits, it turned sour once Moses asked the pharaoh again to release the members of the religious cult. Though Ozymandias wanted to accommodate for his friend, he was duty-bound to uphold his sentence. Accepting his friend’s judgement, Moses left the Ramesseum, but not before warning the pharaoh of the 10 Plagues of Egypt. Brushing off the apparent threat, Ozymandias went to his quarters with Nefertari. The next morning was seemingly normal, without anything being visibly wrong. That was, until Ozymandias walked through the main entrance of the Ramesseum, and looked over the land he ruled. All the waters in sight were dyed a deep red. As if the water had turned to blood. Similar phenomena continued to occur over the next few days; frogs plagued the river Nile, lice spread rapidly throughout the land, and finally, the population were attacked by numbers of vile insects and other animals. Seeking out Moses, Ozymandias told him to release the plague, and he would release the members of the religious sect. Though the effects of the plague ceased, Ozymandias did not keep his promise. And thus, Egypt would be subject to the rest of the plagues. The livestock became diseased in the next day, majority of the population developed boils, a storm of hail rocked the land, locusts assaulted the homes and lives of the Egyptians, and even light failed to reach the land for 3 days. Even through all of this, Ozymandias remained resolute in his position not to free the members of the sect. However, on the final day, Ozymandias broke. The final plague dictated that all the men and women in Egypt would lose their firstborn child to disease. On this day, the firstborn of the pharaoh, ‘Amun-her-khepeshef’, had died. Confronting the prince, Ozymandias told Moses that he would free the sect members, and allow them to leave Egypt without pursuit. Apologising to his best friend, Moses gathered the prisoners within the Ramesseum, meeting with all the others at the outskirts of the capital, Pi-Ramesses. Returning to the throne room, the pharaoh was confronted by his adviser. Though the pharaoh bore no ill will against Moses, his anger over his son’s death was strong. Enough for him to mobilise soldiers to track down the sect members and kill them all.
Mobilising a small squadron, Ozymandias led the pursuit, tracking the entire group, including Moses himself, to the coastline of the continent. Declaring the group dead where they stood, Ozymandias commanded his army to charge, and to spare none but Moses. The army of Egypt surged towards the large group of people, none of whom were warriors or familiar with combat in any way. Then, what could only be described as a miracle, had occurred. The silver-haired man raised his arms to the sea, lifting the very ocean itself, and splitting it in half. It was unlike anything ever seen before. A beam of light more brilliant than his own, shining brighter than the sun itself. Moses led the sect through the crevasse he had cut through the waters, leaving enough room for them all to walk. As the Egyptian army pursued them into the area, Moses collapsed the water on them. Witnessing the display from afar, Ozymandias knew he would not reach Moses or the sect. It was a fool’s errand, even for him. The pharaoh would say a silent goodbye to his oldest friend, and return to Egypt with naught but empty hands.

Chapter V
In the time that had passed since that day, Ozymandias had led many more military campaigns to expand Egypt’s borders. Though many were successful, the Hittites were never going to budge without putting up a fight. Thus, Ozymandias resolved to evoke a peace treaty between the two. With its success, the two nations co-existed peacefully. With Egypt at the height of its wealth and power, the pharaoh knew he could do no more for it if he stayed within the walls of the Ramesseum. From here, he would embark on a journey across the seas and throughout the world, so that he may establish colonies and eventually, come to rule over other lands as well. Such was the duty of the pharaoh, after all. Though he did so with a heavy heart, he said goodbye to Nefertari, promising that he would come back to see her again. On the night he set sail, in the Year 811, Ozymandias was confronted by a celestial figure. Though he could not physically identify it, there was no need to. The figure itself gave him its name; Galahad. It beckoned the pharaoh to travel to a distant land far from Egypt, telling him to seek out Avalon and the Order of Knights Radiant. This plea came with a warning too; “to stay far from the mountain regions where the darkness dwells”. Though the experience caught Ozymandias completely by surprise, he resolved to travel to these mountains, and find what may be hidden there. There was no treasure, no artifacts, or books...only a woman veiled in black.

Other Information
Primeval Light ➟ Ozymandias is the creator and wielder of a special element known as Dendera Light Release. A union of Lightning and Fire, it is a unique form of electricity that can adopt the properties of its component natures, bolts of plasma or streaks of flames, as well as exhibit any color on the visible light spectrum. As a user of Dendera Light, Ozymandias' techniques typically exude a vibrant, sky-blue. Being a Single Handseal Specialist of Dendera Light allows him to utilise all of its techniques and abilities with a single seal, if required.
Solar Calamity ➟ Ozymandias' other area of specialty is Fire Release. As the pharaoh, an incarnation of the sun god Ra, it was expected of him that he would possess great aptitude for its associated element. His prowess with Fire Release is equivalent to that of his mastery over Dendera Light, enabling the use of any Fire Release technique with a single seal, should any be required. This specialty also allows him to access techniques that can only be used by those of certain skill, such as the Great Fireball Shower.
Gift of the Throne ➟ As one inducted into the Fallen faction of the Surgebinders, Ozymandias is ranked as an Apparition/Shade and has learned the Surge of Evocation. Being a Surgebinder, his body is a conduit of Prana, an energy originating from a dimension known as the Throne. The energy itself is a gateway to the Throne, transporting inanimate objects it touches to the Throne, including other forms of energy. Consequently, foreign energies or substances which attempt to enter his body are transported to the Throne before they take effect, meaning that abilities such as Sage Mode and the Curse Mark become useless, and Medical Ninjutsu and other forms of Chakra Transfer become ineffective. Ozymandias' Prana exhibits a golden coloration, an oddity amongst the Fallen.
Solar Calamity ➟ Ozymandias' other area of specialty is Fire Release. As the pharaoh, an incarnation of the sun god Ra, it was expected of him that he would possess great aptitude for its associated element. Pact with Anubis ➟ Ozymandias is a master and specialist of the sealing arts, incorporating its unique capabilities into his techniques and fighting styles to gain the edge over an opponent. His skill and efficiency with chakra, honed through the practice and study of Fūinjutsu, also makes him a Chakra Control Specialist, able to utilise all techniques of Dendera Light with lesser chakra cost (-10). Combined with his mastery over the elements which allow him to utilise Dendera Light, he is granted access to Mystic Fire, a special type of flame that possesses neutrality to all elements, and exhibits unique qualities due to the incorporation of Fūinjutsu. Description: Drawing on a large amount of chakra, the user will perform 4 handseals, and spew forth a mass of condensed fire. Using shape manipulation, the fire will take on the form of a large falcon 5 meters tall with a wingspan of 10 meters. When released, the falcon is able to act of both its own accord and on instruction of the user. It can circle the foe from above and survey the battlefield, or pursue the target relentlessly, as examples. Due to the tangible nature of the fire, bestowed upon it by way of being condensed, the falcon will easily deflect weapons such as kunai and shuriken, and interact with techniques based on the S&W scheme. Upon hitting a target, the user can trigger the falcon to violently explode, creating a blast that spans slightly above short-range (7 meters), incinerating anything within, at the cost of a move. What makes this technique special is not its sentient nature, but its ability to split into pieces. Should the user desire it, they can forcefully split the falcon into separate pieces, allowing for offensive action that covers more than one angle. The user is able to decide the amount of power that is divided between each individual falcon, with the size of each falcon being indicative of the individual power differences. Obviously, the power of the explosion is scaled according to the rank of the falcon; weakening as the rank drops. At will, the user can also re-merge the individual falcons back into its singular, original form before splitting, or only re-merge some of the falcons. Once this is done, the strength and size of the falcon will return to its original state prior to splitting, whilst a falcon that has partially re-merged will upscale in strength but will obviously not be as strong as a fully re-merged falcon. During flight, the falcon(s) is/are able to rotate extremely quickly, generating a vortex of fire, which counts as a move. Anybody trapped inside the vortex will experience suffocation due to the lack of oxygen and smoke, whilst also suffering from severe burns from the heat of the flames. The high speeds of the rotation of the vortex will restrict movement, and being trapped inside for longer than 1 turn will lead to loss of consciousness and death.

It can circle the foe from above and survey the battlefield, or pursue the target relentlessly, as examples. Due to the tangible nature of the fire, bestowed upon it by way of being condensed, the falcon will easily deflect weapons such as kunai and shuriken, and interact with techniques based on the S&W scheme. Upon hitting a target, the user can trigger the falcon to violently explode, creating a blast that spans slightly above short-range (7 meters), incinerating anything within, at the cost of a move. What makes this technique special is not its sentient nature, but its ability to split into pieces. Should the user desire it, they can forcefully split the falcon into separate pieces, allowing for offensive action that covers more than one angle. The user is able to decide the amount of power that is divided between each individual falcon, with the size of each falcon being indicative of the individual power differences. Obviously, the power of the explosion is scaled according to the rank of the falcon; weakening as the rank drops. At will, the user can also re-merge the individual falcons back into its singular, original form before splitting, or only re-merge some of the falcons. Once this is done, the strength and size of the falcon will return to its original state prior to splitting, whilst a falcon that has partially re-merged will upscale in strength but will obviously not be as strong as a fully re-merged falcon. During flight, the falcon(s) is/are able to rotate extremely quickly, generating a vortex of fire, which counts as a move. Anybody trapped inside the vortex will experience suffocation due to the lack of oxygen and smoke, whilst also suffering from severe burns from the heat of the flames. The high speeds of the rotation of the vortex will restrict movement, and being trapped inside for longer than 1 turn will lead to loss of consciousness and death.

Description: This technique is not one that is intended to directly produce or empower fire, but rather, to exert total control over and manipulate pre-existing fire on the battlefield. By tapping into the chakra within a fire technique of the user’s creation and making three handseals, they can harness it and thus directly control it through hand gestures and movements, identical in principle to how the individual fireballs of the Phoenix Sage Fire technique are controlled through their individual chakra masses, and more. For example, the technique could be used to change the trajectory of a fire technique they released that would ordinarily miss due to the opponent evading it, or manipulating a fire technique to branch out and attack. Alternatively, the user could take control of one of their techniques and manipulate it to clash with an opponent’s jutsu. This accounts for the most rudimentary and basic application of the technique. The ability to control jutsu on the field is not merely limited to manipulation of trajectory, but the ability to reform the very structure and composition of the technique itself. Harnessing the chakra within a fire technique, the user is able to apply shape manipulation to it, allowing them to alter the composition and form of the technique. The fire itself is above the skin, the flames being angled away from the user’s body that prevents the heat of the fire from affecting the user at all (the user is still able to perform handseals and make movements for techniques that require any kind of movement or gestures). Since the fire is simply a layer of energy with its shape maintained through chakra manipulation, it does not impede the user’s mobility whatsoever, allowing them to move freely and unhindered. The flames themselves are tangible, so they possess a solid quality to them, allowing the armour to deflect basic weaponry, and defend from jutsu according to the S&W scheme. Utilising further shape manipulation, the user is able to passively (in terms of timeframe, though still costing a move) form makeshift weapons of variable strength (E-A rank), made of tangible fire using the armour as a source. Since they are formed from the armor, they'd weaken it proportionally upon being created. For example, forming an A rank weapon would reduce the Armor's rank to A rank as well. If the weapon is prematurely destroyed, the user can (at the cost of a move/use of this jutsu) restore the armor to its original strength. These weapons are simply manifested at will and thus are formed instantly, allowing the user to utilise them immediately upon creation. Any weapons created through the armour can extend up to 5 meters in length and 1 meter in width at maximum. Because these constructs are simply extensions of the fire itself, they possess no weight either. Throughout the atom, volatile energy constantly pulsates throughout, causing it to pulse with light and heat at a constant rate. Once the atom completely converges on the target, which is done by it approaching within 1 meter of the opponent, heat will gather and concentrate in the center of the technique; which is also the location of the target. The heat will form itself into a ball of fire that rapidly expands to encapsulate the space within the atom. The orb of heat will explode once it completes the expansion and fills the atom, which will result in a localised (short-range) explosion that will easily eviscerate anything caught inside. Should the atom’s structure itself make direct contact with the opponent, they will be dealt major burns.

Description: The user will begin by stringing together a sequence of 4 handseals. Then, they will release a copious amount of ash from their body, superheated by chakra. The extreme volume of ash will quickly congregate and form into a single structure, 20 ft tall, with demonic features, known as a Balrog. This being acts as a familiar made of ash, possessing an extent of sentience that allows it to act independently from the user when not behaving under direct mental command. There is a cavity in the Balrog’s chest, where a small fire sits inside the familiar, which acts as the fuel for all of its functions. The ashes, being superheated by the fire within the chest cavity, allows the Balrog to wholly ignite itself, at the cost of a move, adopting an A-Rank cloak of Fire that will shield its actual body from any damage. Alternatively, the Balrog is able to partially ignite itself using its ash, creating A-Rank structures akin to weapons made of tangible fire, e.g. a sword, axe, mace, whip etc, in order to attack, using a move to do so. These weapons can reach up to 3 meters in size, with the whip being able to extend into mid-range at maximum. Through partial ignition, the Balrog is able to create large pair of wings at a length of 5 meters each that grant it the ability to fly freely, these wings also being considered as A-Rank in strength, also requiring a move slot. In the case of flight, the Balrog’s ash can at the cost of a move, shape itself to keep the user attached to it’s body to prevent them from falling. The user is unable to use Fire Release jutsu above A-Rank for the remainder of the turn during which the Balrog deactivates, forcibly or otherwise. This chakra will manifest as a single or numerous shapes of solid lightning chakra, resembling weaponry such as swords, spears, axes etc, of varying sizes that can be controlled by the user. There are 2 distinct usages of this technique. One of them being, upon mental command, the weapons can shoot, akin to that of arrows fired from bows, towards their target at high speeds at a continuous rate from wherever they spawn. The second usage, is to manifest one or two weapons, wielding them as melee objects in close combat. Due to the lightning itself being tangible in nature, it is able to be held by the user and deal damage similar to that of normal weaponry, in addition to electrocution and mild burns characteristic of Lightning Release effects. While these usages are separated, the user is able to enact the projectile usage after the melee construct(s) has been created, though at the cost of a move in this case. While the weapons of the projectile usage will last until the end of the turn they are created, firing for the entire duration of it, weapons of the melee usage will last up to 3 turns upon creation, unless destroyed or dispelled upon the user ceasing chakra supply to sustain the weapon(s). Gift of the Throne ➟ As one inducted into the Fallen faction of the Surgebinders, Ozymandias is ranked as an Apparition/Shade and has learned the Surge of Evocation. Being a Surgebinder, his body is a conduit of Prana, an energy originating from a dimension known as the Throne. The energy itself is a gateway to the Throne, transporting inanimate objects it touches to the Throne, including other forms of energy. Consequently, foreign energies or substances which attempt to enter his body are transported to the Throne before they take effect, meaning that abilities such as Sage Mode and the Curse Mark become useless, and Medical Ninjutsu and other forms of Chakra Transfer become ineffective. Ozymandias' Prana exhibits a golden coloration, an oddity amongst the Fallen.
