Its not overpopulation that is a problem but rather limited resources. Actually the population is starting to dwindle down. In 40 more years, population will decrease because thats when the old people die off. And if overpopulation ever do turn into a problem, we can always turned to other resources.

Overpopulation isn't the major problem.Japon is 30 time smaller than USA and has the half population of USA.We have the place but we waste and polute a lot .This is the biggest and worst thing.

That is terrible logic. Old people die off? You do realize that there is more than 1 generation of old people? Old people isn't some new thing that just started happening? Human population grows at an exponential rate. That means it is always increasing, and the more it increases, the faster the rate of increase gets. Earths population will never decrease by a noticeable amount without anything short of a zombie apocalypse or divine intervention. Maybe a nuclear war. That old people dieing is going to cause earths population to drop is the dumbest thing of the week that I have seen on this site, hell you might even pull idiot of the month with that statement. People are born almost 3 times as fast as people die.


We always create cures for disease and stop wars form happening and find new ways to solve conflict without casualties, yet the same people who say this is how humans should be say the earth is overpopulated. Stop lifting a finger to save another life, and you will be harming humanity, saving the planet. If hippies truly wanted to save the earth, they would end humanity, then the earth could survive. As long as were on it, the planet has a death sentence, or at least we have a death sentence of how long the planet will support us, millions of species don't exist anymore, things go extinct every day. We need to accept that we are nothing but another species that will go extinct eventually, and the planet will be here long after humans are gone.

I partially agree with you but also greatly dIsagree, if we continue the path that were currently on I believe we will go extinct long before the earth dies out, but with the rate at which technology is growing, if we actually concentrated on space exploration and different methods of energy, we might not be as helpless as you think. Yeah we can't save everyone, but when we give up on trying that's when we've truly lost
