Overlooked plot hole,limbo?

I get how he calls Limbo an obstruction, which means he cannot seem to sense it or sense it properly. Yet here, he dodged it somehow? Seems weird to me. The !! marks show surprise as well. I have always found it odd how the Bijuus have not displayed any particularly decent sensing properties.

He knows something is there but he doesn't know what, or how to deal with it.

That's why I say either his improved SM has the automatic ability to dodge it or one of his Bijuu helped him move.
