he probably gained greater mastery over CT when they sealed kaguya and observing madara's CT.

p.s. his version of CT is like a mix of inspirations from the two versions .

The part where the victim becomes the core of a CT is from hagoromo's seal.
using it in multiples and in a small scale is probably from madara's

Characters progress way too fastly for the sake of living in ridiculous tiers.

Would be better off if author did not attempt an explanation. Certain things can npt be just explained and make sense if they are not fitting in a logical plot progression:

Agreed. It'd be better off if Sasuke didn't even say that at all. Although, this makes me think he has been holding back, which explains his lackluster performance against Kaguya.

so his memories were connected to sasuke's via the sharingans ? it might make a bit more sense if they were rinnegans .
