Katon, Fire release is the expulsion of intensely heated chakra. It can be expelled from the mouth and can be manipulated into objects and formed in open spaces. The Uchiha clan is widely known for being specialists with this element as it is always their base element. The element reigns in Konohagakure, it can be fused with quite a few elements and a few KG's like scorch,lava and dust release are composed of it. Katon like regular fire increases in size when fed with oxygen making it very effective against wind. Fire generally engulfs weaker wind therefore enhancing the strength and size of the flames. But if the wind is a lot stronger than the fire(two-ranks higher), the fire will be snuffed out by the wind. It also has an 'aversion' to water which weakens it tremendously. When they collide with 'relatively' equivalent strength mist/steam will form from the collision. Katon generates heat and light which allows it to be perceived if the users sight is hindered. i.e. Genjutsu. It can be used in many variations and combinations. It works extremely well with wind and its shape can be manipulated to the users benefit.​

Skulduggery takes out a box of matches and throws them at you, "Light these matches and stab them into the ground making a circle of flaming matches, sit in the middle and gather your chakra, focus it and take in the feeling, smell and sight of the fire, it's properties and try and mix that up with your chakra to form Katon type chakra."

As i hear my instructions i pick up the matches and stick them on the ground creating a circle wide enough for me to sit in and then i light up the matchsticks and sit with in the burning circle of matches and inhale deeply and concentrate on my chakra and the fire surrounding me and gather chakra and focus on the chakra, i then try to absorb the smell, the presence, the feeling, the sight of the fire and absorb it with my chakra trying to mix it-

I continue with a long face because my question remained unanswered, i take a deep breath as i concentrate and gather katon chakra and focus on the katon chakra and channel it to my mouth and Blow it out from my mouth, as the fire shoots out of my mouth i manipulate it into small balls of fire, shooting them towards the dummy and burning it, as i finish the task i scream out "Dat Burn".​

"Now take out some shuriken, do the same with the fire and throw the shuriken, as you do release the fire balls to catch up with the shuriken and lightning them up and making them deadlier."

As my Senpai finishes telling me my instructions i give him a lazy 'ok' and take out 3 shurikens and as soon as i throw them towards the dummy i focus on the katon chakra and channel it to my mouth and Blow it out from my mouth, as the fire shoots out of my mouth i manipulate it into small balls of fire and as soon as they catch up with the shurikens i manupilate the fire balls and make them cover the shurikens with fire hitting the dummy in a deadlier way ​

"Nice work, for this next technique I want advantages and Disadvantages and for all the techniques to come also." Skulduggery tips his hat up and passes his student another match box, "I want you to perform the Snake → Ram → Monkey → Tiger as you are gathering chakra and then from your lungs I want you to blow out a flammable gas, the hand seals if perform correctly make the fire into this gas. Light one of those matches and throw it into the gas as it surrounds a practice dummy throw the matchstick into the gas and watch what happens."

I concentrate and sigh deeply and preform the handseals [ Snake → Ram → Monkey → Tiger ] which transforms the fire in my lungs to gas, i exhale out all the gas formed in my lungs and quicky i pick up the matches and set it on fire then throw it into the gas i recently exhaled and....watch it as it goes... BOOM!

Advantages:
It can slightly put a layer on the opponents vision

Disadvantages:
Too many handseals which can result in the opponent taking act before you are able to preform the tech.
