One of his daughters is married to the 7th and thus intwines the Hyuga to the top government, the other is the clan head.
They are the most wealthy in the village especially during a time of economic boom (with tech and skylines). The Uchiha are basically dead with the only relevant one having no more children after breeding with a Haruno and eventually ditching all hope of clan revival in order to groom a Hyuga named Boruto. The Uzumaki clan is basically Hyuga property and last but not least the next GOD of shinobi is a little Hyuga girl named Himawari.

Blessed is this clan... They just sat back and allowed the other three members of the noble clans (and the Ootsukis on the moon) kill each other.

To be fair, Uchiha have all their weaknesses eradicated by Sakura's body feats, Yin seal enhances their strongest dojutsu, and their KKG feats will be enhanced from her and Sasuke having Yin affinity and from both of them having genjutsu talent

But I can't deny it, Himawari > next gen fav

They styad irrelevent in part 1 and 2 because of some reason. The reason is they will rule the future after previous warmonger clans is gone forever
