Episode 2 “Teaming Up”
IN OPEN FIELD
Kyoko: Guys I’d like you to meet the third member of Team 10, my son, Hayato Shiga.
Hayato: Hello.
Arashi: Wha?!
Daisuke: your son?!
Kyoko: That’s right. He’s 16 just like you guys so you three should get along great.
Arashi: …
Daisuke: …
Hayato: are they always this quiet?
Kyoko: Don’t worry, once they open up to you you’ll have trouble shutting them up.
Arashi: Are you really her son?
Hayato: yes. How many times are you going to ask?
Arashi: …
Daisuke: Wow, nice kid you got here Kyoko-sensei.
Kyoko: Thanks!*completely oblivious to the sarcasm*
Arashi: What took you so long Hayato?
Hayato: I had things to do.
Daisuke: more important than meeting your team.
Hayato: Exactly.*mockingly smirks*
Kyoko: So now that you’ve all met we can start the mission.
Daisuke: We have a mission already?
Hayato: What’s wrong Daisuke, scared?
Daisuke: wouldn’t dream of it.
Kyoko: Let’s get going then.
Arashi: uhh… Kyoko-sensei, could you untie us first?
Kyoko: oh right I almost forgot.*releases chakra strings*
Hayato:*whispers to himself* ha ha that’s funny.
Daisuke: what did you say?
Hayato: oh no, nothing.
Daisuke: yeah, you aren’t saying much now that im untied right?
Hayato: haha whatever you say man.
Kyoko: OK you guys we are done with that. Time to start our new mission!
Arashi: ok sensei, so What exactly is our mission?
Kyoko: well that’s the thing, I don’t really know. I figured we could turn this experience to a good team work exercise.
Daisuke: oh great..
Kyoko: so this is how it works.. See that forest over there *points to the left towards a dark forest*
All 3 kids: yeah!
Kyoko: I hid the scroll with our mission deep inside that forest. All you guys have to do is get it so we can read it and star our new mission.
Arashi: easy as that?
Kyoko: easy as that. But I did throw in a few traps here and there so be careful. But its nothing I know you guys can’t handle. Oh and one last thing, the mission is a C rank mission, and if we don’t get that scroll soon, a copy of it will be given to another team, so you have about 2 hours starting.. 30 minutes ago. So GO!
The three boys rush into the woods and slowly disappear into the darkness of them unaware of the challenge that lies ahead.
The guys stop to think..
Daisuke: so where could she have put the scroll? Theres a lot of forest here and we need to find it in less than an hour.
Hayato: less than an hour and a half Einstein.. Can you not do math either?
Daisuke: *steps towards Hayato and gets in his face* what did you say?
Arashi: *steps in between the two and pushes them apart* enough we need to do this. Ok so Hayato, where do you think she would have hidden it? I mean you know you’re mom right?
Hayato: well to be honest I really have no idea. My mom is crazy when it comes to this. She is the smartest person I know.
Arashi: oh great just what we need… ok so lets all look around for clues or something.
The boys all begin to look around in search of clues.
Hayato: hey guys I think I found something follow me. *starts walking*
Arashi and daisuke stare at each other for a bit wondering whether or not they should trust this new guy. Then they hesitantly start walking towards Hayato.
Hayato: look over there! *points*
The guys look and see a small paper with a strange symbol on it. Then Daisuke runs towards it.
Daisuke: found it! Here we go mission!
Suddenly he trips on something. It’s chakra strings that set off a massive rain of kunais and shurikens all flying towards Daisuke.
Arashi: it’s a trap!! *runs towards Daisuke to help him*
Arashi begins to make hands seals and then screams…
Arashi: Earth Style: Stone Prison Jutsu!
The earth around the boys rises and forms a huge dome blocking them from the deadly weapons heading towards them. The barrage of weapons stops and Arashi releases his jutsu. In the distance the boys hear someone laughing. They turn around and see Hayato laughing. Daisuke begins to rage and speeds towards Hayato.
Daisuke: ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! *gets a punch ready*
Hayato stops laughing and looks down at where Daisuke is about to step. Then suddenly Daisuke trips on another string which sets off another trap. This time its 3 kunais all wrapped in high explosive tags. Daisuke notices them and quickly beings to make hand seals.
Daisuke: Fire Style: Fire Ball Jutsu!
Daisuke then faces down and points his fire ball to the ground using his jutsu to launch himself in the air and avoids the dangerous kunais. Then does a backflip in the air to land on his feet facing down to the ground. Then Daisuke reaches into his back pocket to pull out a kunai. He then looks up with the two Tomoe Sharingan and looks at Hayato with anger in his eyes.
Daisuke: you’re pushing your luck buddy, next time im going at you full force.
Arashi walks up behind Daisuke and sets his hand on Daisuke’s right shoulder.
Arashi: calm down man, this isn’t the time or place, plus we have a mission to get to and this is just a waste of time. Don’t let him get to you. and I found the scroll. *he points up*
All the boys look up to see the scroll hanging directly above them from strings.
Daisuke: ok fine you’re right, so what are we waiting for?
Then without warning Hayato throws a shuriken at the scroll to cut the strings. Then the scroll falls and hits Daisuke in the head. Daisuke then grabs his head in pain, and looks at Hayato with a look full of anger. Arashi grabs the scroll off the ground.
Arashi: calm down, we got it. Now let’s head out and meet Kyoko- sensei to get this mission started.
The guys all rush out to meet their sensei, and leave the forest behind them. As team 10 exits that forest, a new adventure begins.

To avoid any kind of mix up both myself (ThirteenthNova) and riveracarlos151 are creators of this story. there have been some mistakes on our part by posting on two different accounts but we will try to fix them as soon as possible. Also we havent thought of a steady posting date. What do you guys think it should be? Also any and all drawing representing any of the characters is appreciated. As we cant draw to save our lives. (^_^)
