[Theory] Otsutsuki Rinnegan [Boruto movie spoiler]

On the Naruto universe Earth, Otsutsuki Hagoromo gained the Rinnegan somehow.
Gaining his power, can unlock the Rinnegan, as we saw with Madara, who fused Ashura's chakra with his own chakra (Indra) into Hagaromo's chakra.

You dont need to be Senju + Uchiha. You need Hagoromo's chakra or Ashura + Indra=Hagoromo's chakra.
So it happens, Ashura was reincarnated in someone from the Senju lineage (Naruto) and Indra in someone from the Uchiha lineage (Sasuke). However I bet if Indra choose a Hyuuga for reincarnation, that he could still get Rinnegan, if he got hold of Ashura's chakra to fuse with his (As Madara/Indra did).

So in essence, Rinnegan is no higher evolution from Sharingan, as Kabuto and Oro theorized.

In Boruto the movie, we see Momoshiki. He is an Otsutsuki, with the Rinnegan.
Before he absorbs Kinshiki, Momoshiki has a red Rinnegan.
After he absorbs Kinshiki this red Rinnegan, becomes the white purplish Rinnegan.

So Rinnegan might just be a possible dojutsu that some Otsutsuki can have, besides their Byakugan.

So it would be a coincidence that every one that is known to have awaken the rinnegan, had Ootsutsuki genes, but why not.

Momoshiki after he absorbs Kinshiki, has a lot of similarities with the guys that masters the cursed seal given by Orochimaru.

Yellow and black eyes, red skin, the teeth grow, the third eye awakening, horns growing...
It's a bit like a red rinnegan+cursed seal mastery=purple rinnegan, that could explain why Sasuke got a purple rinnegan (he masters the cursed seal trans) and why Kaguya got a red one, she may not.

How can we link Ootsutsuki with the cursed seal?
Can there be a link between Juugo's clan and the Ootsutsuki family? Or with the snake Hakuja senin where Juugo's clan lives?

I doubt that the Rinnegan is linked to the Byakugan. The Shinju of Earth has the Rinnegan BEFORE it joined up with Kaguya. As Momoshiki joined with a Shinju from his world, I am sure he got it from there too.

It seems Kaguya's power was split between her two children with Hagoromo gaining most of it through the Rinnegan and Senjutsu/body power while Hamura was left with the leftovers and the Byakugan. This is why Hagoromo's bloodline is further split into the Uchiha and Senju while Hamura's bloodline is the Hyuga. This is also why the Byakugan has no evolution unless you count that weird ass stuff from the movie. In essence Kabuto and Orochimaru were right; you need Six Paths and Indra's chakra to evolve the Sharingan into its maximum potential.

Maybe its both.
Maybe Rinnegan will be formed on an Otsutsuki (or someone decended from them with genes close enough to them) who cosumes a Shinju/the fruit of a Shinju.
Otsutsuki are the only known race with a dojutsu, seeing as all dojutsus on earth are descended from the Otsutsuki.

Yeah its likely that Uchiha clan, Senju clan, Uzumaki clan, Juuyo clan, Kaguya clan (Kimimaro), Hyuuga clan and a few others are all decended from the Otsutsuki clan.

Otsutsuki could maybe have the power to handle the Rinnegan and that you therefore have only seen people with Rinnegan who have Otsutsuki genes. Although it was shown that Nagato, an Uzumaki, could handle it too (probably compatable enough genes). Whereas Obito could handle only one Rinnegan eye (lacking in genes).

Sasuke has the genes in high enough quality from having Indra in him.

I wonder what would happen if a normal human would eat the Shinju fruit.
He might die.
Seeing as someone not compatable enough could get consumed by a weaker power like the curse seal if they had it active for too long.

Or maybe a normal human obtains a different power.

It could be that if someone consumes a Shinju fruit and has compatable Otsutsiki genes, that a Rinnegan appears.

In other words, the power of Otsutsiki could be gaining Rinnegan from Shinju fruit/Shinju.

I meant to say that its not necessarily Sharingan that evolves into Rinnegan.
If Indra would have chosen Neji, than I am sure that he would be a host who could get Rinnegan as well, due to having Indra's genes too.

So a normal human being who eats the Shinju fruit, what does he get? What do you think?

A dojutsu?
Red tomoe Rinnegan?
White purplish Rinnegan?
No dojutsu?
Dies?'
Something else?

Can the Shinju fruit become a Rinnegan in their eyes?

Lets say Rinnegan is green.
Otsutsiki is blue and the Shinju fruit is yellow.

Otsutsuki + Shinju fruit=Rinnegan can be formed in the consumer of that fruit.

But maybe human being + Shinju fruit wont lead to that.
Maybe that will lead to something else.

Hagoromo was born with the rinnegan, Indra can't come from an Hyuga bloodline because they are not of his line, what you say may be true but us one thing to have powers and another thing to be able or capable of wielding them, those who possessed the rinnegan were capable to wielding its powers, nagato(body), madara(eye), obito, Sasuke

Naruto is an Uzumaki, the reason for his blonde hair is because kishi drew him from the inspiration of Son Goku super saiken in dragon balls, am sure that is why he gave him a father with yellow hair to give an explanation, if you have noticed Minato was never mentioned to be from any clan nor related to the senju, Naruto's blonde hair is just seen as him being unique out of all the uzumakis

as for momo, to me its just like how danzo had the powers of many sharingan at his right arm and could use them, even shishu sharingan and he is not an uchiha, but even at that he still can't use a sharingan and the way a real uchiha will use it

well its just my own point of view concerning mono

all that matters is if you are capable and fit to handle any level of powers given to you (power is different from power)

just ask can shikamaru fully wield the entire powers of hagoromo , if for uchihas mankegou sharingan makes their eyes bleed
