"Otsutsuki" Filler Arc

Spreading around on NF as of lately in terms of what is presumably planned by Studio Pierrot(which is not surprising), but it seems that they have one more final "filler arc" that they are planning to release and that is the "Rikudou" story, that will mostly be about Black Zetsu re-telling the tales of on how the Sage of Six Path and Hamura came to be, along with some backstory upon Kaguya Otsutsuki herself and lastly the animosity between Asura and Indra, which led to the feud between the Senju and Uchiha.

The filler will be taking place during these particular flashback moments.

If it has Kishimoto overview and approval, i'm all for it. It will be interesting anyway, it is just bad that we didn't get anything regarding Indra and Ashura, a little fight would suffice.

But then I guess it's one extreme to the other. Now the focus is on ancient forgotten about characters that once had great potential, that hardly anyone cares about anymore. Next up is brand new omnipotent characters that are as interesting as paint drying on the wall.

Since more Ootsutsuki filler (read: backstory) is actually exactly what the Kaguya fight / arc needed, this is perfect... as long as it doesn't suck.

We need to know so many things. Why did Kaguya become obsessed with power (did she lose someone? Did she care about the world she ruled, despite being from some alien race of gods?). What hardships led Ashura to seek power? Did Ashura/Indra grow up in a time of war, or were things peaceful under Hagoromo's leadership? Where they basically royalty? Why didn't Indra accept Hagoromo's decision? Pure outrage because he was slighted by his father, or did he have an "Uchiha" experience that made him jaded towards Ashura's optimistic ideals?

Where the **** did Kaguya come from?
