What can you tell me about the clan? What makes them special, and why did you choose this specific ability branch?

The Otsutsuki Clan seem to be the origins of all things chakra. They are a space fairing people that many know little about. Like the Hyuga they are divided into a main and branch family; though I am not sure if this applies to the moon Otsutsuki as they are descendants of Hamura who like his brother descend from Kaguya.
Some abilities that make them special are mostly donuts as they are the originators of the byakugan, sharingan, rinniegan tensegan, and the now hyped jougan. They also amazing chakra control allowing full control of their tenketsu and chakra flow a trait along with the byakugan that was passed down to the Hyuga. Also, as they are the originators of puppetry they have the ability to utilize puppets with the need of chakra threads.
The reason I chose to make a Otsutsuki bio is because I've rp'd as a Hyuga since ive started on NB and wanted to explore the other side of the byakugan and eventually unlock the tensegan.

Alright, there are a few things that we will go through. We'll start with this technique.
(Ōtsutsuki-ryu: Kugutsu no Jutsu) Ōtsutsuki Style: Puppet Technique
Alright, this technique is simple. As the founders of puppetry, they made strides in mechanical engineering. Thus, they can utilize puppets without the need for chakra strings. So they are pseduo-sentient beings, and can act on their own. They are kinda like clones in this sense, but a bit different. Elaborate a bit for me.

Chakra Cost: 20 (-5 per turn used per puppet)
Damage: N/A
Description: As the founders of the puppetry technique, the Otsutuski clan have made great strides in mechanical engineering which has allowed them to make various multi-purposed puppets. However, they've also made strides in the manipulation of these puppets, granting them the ability to utilize their puppets remotely and without the need for chakra strings. Otsutsuki shinobi are capable of embedding their chakra into their puppets to allow them to act on their own recognizance as pseudo-sentient beings, independent of the user's direct control. Because they are free enough to act independently they simulate robots or clones in this regard. As a result, the puppets are free to move about at much longer ranges than they would under the control of chakra strings. However, due to the advanced chakra manipulation required for this technique, the user cannot cannot use any sort of clone jutsu whilst their chakra fuel the puppets. The user can control up to 3 puppets in total with this technique and can maintain it as long as their chakra allows them to.
Note: Puppets used under this technique have the same freedom of movement as any other sentient being (clones, summons, shinobi, etc).
Note: For humanoid like puppets, aside from their mechanized capabilities, they are allowed to use ordinary, non-chakra oriented taijutsu.
Note: Unlike actual clones, puppets cannot be put under genjutsu, nor will the user gain knowledge of the puppets experience if they are destroyed or the technique is released. Puppets are not linked to their user through any means that would allow them to sense each other's presence through this technique.

It's like you said they are pseudo sentient and automated. This allows the user to perform various combinations with the puppet as if they where essentially clone minus the shared knowledge. Also, the combinations that they can provide can be endless just depends on the puppets the user owns. Along with this they most likely can perform basic puppetry tech and if humanoid can perform taijutsu.

Good job. Something to note, is that the humanoid puppets can only use normal Taijutsu, non-chakra based. However, if you make non-humanoid puppets, they can use special abilities that humanoid puppets can't.

A very interesting technique, where you will create a sphere that can control your opponent! To some degree. It can also cause damage. Elaborate on it.

Description: The user molds his chakra into the form of a green-coloured sphere. This sphere is held and can be seen as similar to the Rasengan in appearance. By sending it at an opponent, the user can use these spheres to temporarily take control of an opponent's body, effectively turning them into a puppet, with limitations of course. It also has tactical purposes, allowing the user to read the minds of those it enters, mentally linking to the user. These spheres can also have damaging effects, causing damage if used as an offensive sphere of chakra, similar to Rasengan. The user cannot use it for both puppet mimicry and to damage the opponent in the same turn. The user can alternatively use the offensive variant through his actual puppets, not the ones used from this jutsu.
Note: Cannot be used to force the opponents to kill or injure themselves.
Note: Only two puppets can be controlled at a time via this method and up to Kage ranked. Hold over the puppets last for only a single turn.

Essentially this is a rasengan with a dual function. Function 1 is of course a offensive variant to dmg the enemy. The other use is to turn a living person into your puppet granting you their memories and knowledge in the process. Downside of this is that it lasts for one turn, only works on kage and below, and you can't force your opponents to harm themselves.
