I'm not saying it's the greatest because of what the franchise has accomplished in the Anime world. It's the greatest of all time because of the Manga/Anime. I only made that point because people should respect DBZ, the Anime world wouldn't of been what it was today if it wasn't for DBZ.

The manga/anime world wouldn't have been what it was today if it weren't for Osamu Tezuka who created Astro Boy. He prractically invented the unique big-eye style. And yet we say, the "true" credit lies with DBZ

The true credit does lie with DBZ because the franchise revolutionised the Anime world to new heights. Every Anime/Manga takes influence from something. Other Anime/Manga besides DBZ may have been influential and did impact the Anime World, but not on the scale and magnitude of Dragon Ball.

We don't they do. Astro Boy may not have been as popular or as good(imo) that's why people probably don't mention it or know it.

dbz is a completely different style then naruto/one piece/bleach

so you can't compare them.

Naruto is about overcoming being mocked and abused and trying to become the best.

One piece is about pursuing your dreams and never stopping, no matter how great the task.

Bleach is about protecting your family no matter the cost.

Dragonball is about becoming used to society and overcoming its trials.

Dragonball z is about fighting off otherworldly attacks, and to step up to the bat and never back down, becuase to become a legend is all that matters.

it was made decades after the real fathers of anime, and its your favourite not the greatest
