Orochimaru's Potential

Ok, lets say Oro successfully took over Sasuke as his vessel. He would have all of his previous techniques(snakes,etc.) along with Sasuke's and the Sharingan. He would also probably be able to become a sage with a new body. Next, due to Itachi's illness Oro could now most likely take him down. Once he does this not only can he get EMS, but also the yata mirror & totska blade. But wait, theirs more . It is understood that Oro had possession of Hashi's cells, this now creates the possibility that he could get the Rinnegan and if you wanna go even farther, Perfect Susano'o. So basically, Orochimaru had the potential to become basically unbeatable.

Oh I totally agree. If he didn't get trolled by Sasuke and Itachi, he'd in my opinion be by far the strongest enemy right now

On top of that, since he had the Rinnegan, he could master the 5 basic nature transformations. Meaning he had the ability to learn every jutsu. Completing his goal.

YUP 100% agree he had so much potential and was sort of close to fulfilling his potential

Tbh he had too much pontential for one being one character. There usually arent villains the last throughout the whole series the entire time, his time had to come somehow. It's very unfortunate the he HAD to get trolled majority of his time, guess that's the life of shinobi born w/o doujutsu, clan KKG, etc.

Oro had the most potential but with his carelessness as time went on was his downfall sadly, he was a disturbed character but he could have ruled/destroyed the entire narutoverse once taking control of Sasuke's body. In my opinion he waited too late to switch into Sasuke.

lol i said this in a post a a reply to the thread about dead characters potential yesterday afternoon. I agree man, of Oro had been successful with his plans he would be pretty much unstoppable, even if he just got EMS i can't see anyone beating him.

Agreed and that is what he was aiming for. However his goal, I believe was hindered by underestimating Hiruzen. If he went all out and killed Hiruzen, not only would one enemy of his be gone, but also he'd have been able to keep Edo Hashirama (and Tobirama). Having those two Edos would've made his life significantly easier. Especially as in this scenario, he could add Hiruzen to his collection.
