Alright back in the 1st naruto when Orochimaru 1st showed up he was in the grass ninjas outfit and still hes wearing that same outfit? Im confussed here why is he wearing that outfit even before he killed the grass ninja?

In the latest manga Orochimaru is wearing that outfit when he meets kabuto and tells him to join him. Im wondering why the grass ninja he killed was wearing that same outfit and, Anko didnt realize it was him if he wore that outfit?

Another suggestion could be, tht the outfit he wears could be frm the grass village. Maybe he symbolizes a 'grass snake?'
