Orochimaru's New Wind

Remember the talk Sasuke had with Orochimaru back in Konoha? I think we know now what it was all about and why Orochimaru initially attacked Konoha and not "just on a whim".

Orochimaru was thinking the exact same thing. He wanted revolution. He left Konoha because he didn't like the way Konoha does things. Remember what he did after leaving Konoha? He created a village, his own country, he put his own ideals into the new system and new ways of thinking. And then he wanted to erase old ways of thinking by "executing" Kages, starting with Kazekage and Hokage.

That's why Orochimaru had no interest in this war. This war was created to erase the existence of shinobi. What Orochimaru and Sasuke wanted was new ideals, new system, new ideas for how shinobi should be. Orochimaru wanted to "explain everything in this world", that is to redefine everything for everyone. Sasuke wants revolution.

That's why Orochimaru put so much faith in Sasuke. He knew all along what Sasuke was about to do while they had their small talk back in the village.

Now it all makes sense, folks. Orochimaru can sit back and enjoy his "new wind".

Orochimaru wants to change things. He dislikes old ways of thinking, he wants something new and entertaining. He is selfish, yes, but I think he never care whether or not he is right.

Now he sees something new in Sasuke, not just something folly as Madara's "Genjutsu dream" or Jiraiya's "someday people can understand each other". Sasuke wants change and Orochimaru approve that.
