Orochimaru's Motivations?!

What if Orochimaru is only following Sasuke so that he can have an Uchiha body to do the Fushi Tensei (Living Corpse Reincarnation) on the list? I mean, the war can go in two ways. Either….

A: The Allied Shinobi Forces win, and Madara’s body is left as a corpse for Orochimaru to salvage (assuming he was reincarnated through Rinne Tensei).

B: Madara wins, slaughtering the Allied Shinobi Forces, leaving Sasuke’s corpse to salvage.

For Orochimaru, this is a win-win situation. Madara has the Rin’negan, and Sasuke has the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. Even if neither of these pan out, there may be a third option.

C: If Madara is halted from competing Rinne Tensei and cannot resurrect himself, Obito’s corpse would still remain. Orochimaru could salvage that, acquiring both the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan and the Rin’negan.

So...whaddya think??? (I posted this on my blog, too [@randomakatsukirping] ... so no, it is not plagiarized.)

I believe he's following Sasuke waiting for the right time (like after the war) to attack Sasuke, like when he's weakened and has his guard down. He's definitely waiting to see how Sasuke will turn out but after that, he's going after Sasuke.

My thoughts were always that he had some form of aim after what he though was Madara (Obito).

Obito's body is a wet dream for Orochimaru.

If any of you actually remembered what Orochimaru said to Anko back at the chunin exams rather than living solely in the present, you may remember he said he was doing all of that for fun and to keep himself entertained.

Don't look past it, the best villains are so because they have no rhyme or reason like the joker from batman.

Well orochimaru stated that he still 'wants' Sasuke's 'young body' ...... Also he is mad scientist type, so I think he wants to 'observe' his 'host' before concluding his experiment.
