Orochimaru's Living Corpse Reincarnation jutsu

We all know it takes Orochimaru three years until he can transfer his soul into another vessel once he's already used it. The recent chapter shows his using the jutsu on a Zetsu clone, making Sasuke safe from him for ANOTHER three years. (I am starting to doubt this because Orochimaru used this jutsu not long ago on Sasuke. But, this mabe due to being revived from Anko's curse seal and not being brought back from Itachi's susanoo: Totsuka sword.)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't zetsu clones one of the worst choices Orochimaru could have chosen for a host?

1: Their bodies are not suited for attacks. Even Obito said that Zetu was not a true front line fighter. (just good for fodder)

2: Their attacks are verry limited, as their powers in mokuton are novice at best.

3: If coming into Kurama's chakra, they turn into trees.

I know that Orochimaru's abilities added to Zetsu's may counter some of these weaknesses but I was wondering if anyone else felt the fame.

Does Orochimaru really have a choice? he will certainly die after the Shiki Fuujin Kai and he needed a nearby body to transfer to, beggars can't be choosers.

OT: Another point if i may add is it doesnt really matter the body he didnt have much of a choice at the time and with the zetsu he now has senju DNA

When he fought hiruzen he was in a fodder grass nin body. Bodies are a container for his power they don't make him weaker. Kuramachakra might make him a fern though.
