Ok, i apologise if im wrong but did anyone else not notice Orochimaru's future in chapter 700?


- He was one of the main characters in the entire manga and yet we see nothing from him? Well played kishi :/

- I really did enjoy Chapter 699 with all them feels but chapter 700 was too rushed tbh. ​

Well chapter 700 showed Sasuke think that someone is staking Him so who could it be? Orochimaru and He wants His body? Or Karin and She wants His body? Who ever they are interested in Sasuke.

Orochimaru was a main character in part one only. He became a plot device brought back to revive the Hokage and nothing more.

Just like that? And after his supposed "redemption"? Yes, because Orochimaru is obviously not very important to Kishi, the guy writing the story.
And what about Kabuto? Now that I'm interested in, but again apparently not Kishimoto.
I want to know if they payed for their sins or not. Me too.

Would I have like to see more about these two? Yes, but we didn't so deal with it. Just because us fans think certain characters or plot points are interesting doesn't mean the author does and it doesn't mean they will get panel time.

This will bee my only complaint about the series. Kish's lack of development for certain characters, such as Orochimaru p, when he implied there would be some backstory multiple times throughout the series.

Well if Orochimaru really turned "good" he probably is long dead. For freeing the Kages he scarified his own body and choose a White Zetsu as host. Such a "possessed" body can only last for a few years and if he really had his epiphany it wouldn't be fitting for him to still steal bodies of innocent beings. So he literally withered away.

Edit: Kabuto probably returned to Konoha to see his "family".
