Orochimaru's Eight Branches technique

how powerful do you think is Ororchimaru's eight branches technique( yamata no orochi)

i'm guessing probably as strong as the eight tails since it was said that he was capable of performing a technique as powerful as the tailed beast ball.

It only performs the TBB attack in a video game. In the manga it does no such thing. The video game cutscenes were awesome by the way.

My guess might be yes since in japanese mythology, the orochi(eight headed serpent) is normally also referred to as hachibi-eight tails. So you may be able to consider it a quasi-tailed beast.

It was probably extremely powerful, just not for Itachi. Think about it; eight giant snakes with corrosive venim? The sheer size denotes its high power.

oro's strongest tech that took itachis strongest tech to defeat. if its his trump card it must be better than edo tensei. plus itachi was like "finally it comes out" so he was ready for it and did prep time. hes obviously encountered this move before.

it's a pity we didn't see any thing from it, itachi's susanoo chopped off all of its heads like it was nothing, and then he sealed him... to be fair tat was itachi's strongest technique and he probably knew about it, but we still got cheated as far as orochimaru was concerned imo. for all his jutsu and power, he got killed off really stupidly twice.
