Exactly how much chakra does Orochimaru have? We know the each curse seal contains his chakra and his consciousness, possibly dividing his power.

The north hideout alone had multiple prisoners with the curse mark, hence a bit of Orochimaru's chakra

Chakra can be recharged. It's not like he needs a shit-ton of chakra to do this, he takes some out, then it's rejuvinated, then he does it again.

I see it more as he has chakra reserves in the cursed marks rather than a loss of chakra since it contains apart of his consciousness.

Almost like storage units where he has pieces of himself. While he in his psychical body has his own chakra that can be replinished.

It was Juugo's Senjutsu that Orochimaru placed in the Curse seal, they used Juugo's power and Orochimaru tweaked it a little with his chakra so they would become his slaves the more they used the power.

Chakra replenishes, it's not like he gave everyone of his experiment chakra at once. Only when chakra is sealed from you is when you can't restore it, ex: Yin Kurama was striped from Yang Kurama. Jiraiya was said to have huge chakra reserves by Pa toad and Tsunade is Senju/Uzumaki and shown to use high chakra amounts so all three have huge amounts.
